Chapter - 10

Hearing the sound of the car horn, Mrs. Park quickly went to open the main door. As she opened it, she saw that Taehyung had arrived! Mrs. Park gave Taehyung a courteous smile and invited him inside to sit down.

Taehyung walked inside and sat down on a sofa, crossing one leg over the other like a king he is. Mrs. Park went upstairs to call Jungkook, but before leaving, she asked if she should arrange for some refreshments. Taehyung declined and asked for Jungkook to be brought down within 5 minutes.

A few moments later, Mrs.Jeon brought Jungkook downstairs, followed by Mrs. Park, and behind them was Jisoo.

Seeing Jungkook coming down, Taehyung looked up, put his phone back in his pocket, and stood up straight. Today, his angel looked like a cloud prince in his white dress, so serene. Even without any makeup, he looked stunning!

Taehyung stared at his angel, his obsession, someone he could never tire of looking at. Jungkook's entire face was swollen, his rosy cheeks looked so tempting to bite. He was trembling, and it was intoxicating to Taehyung. As always, he kept his head down, and his long silky hairs swung beautifully with every step he took towards him.

Taehyung took Jungkook's hand and brought him closer. Just a glance at him steadied his mind, which had spent a sleepless night just for this moment. Now, he felt better, Jungkook was more intoxicating than any drug. He gently tucked Jungkook's hair behind his ear, told everyone that they were leaving, and walked out.

Meanwhile, on the other side of town:

--" Boss, Taehyung is getting married. The bride's name is Jungkook.

📞: On the other side of the line said something..

--" Yes, boss. I've had men investigate, but all our people have been killed by Taehyung's men. I've been in hiding, I changed my locations last night. They're searching everywhere for me. If they find me, they'll kill me.

📞: On the other side of the line said something again.

--" No, no boss, I won't go anywhere. I won't go anymo- Ahhhhh!

The man's words were cut short as he collapsed to the ground, and the person on the other end, hearing the sound, quickly disconnected the call.

One person checked the pulse of the fallen man and found him dead. Another person took the man's phone and then the group left.

The mysterious person disconnected the call and threw it immediately yelling,

--" AHHHH, TAEHYUNG, I WILL FINISH YOU. YOU'VE DESTROYED EVERYTHING I HAD..!! My business, my entire life..!! You even killed my son. I won't let you go. I WILL DESTROY YOU," a voice screamed in rage. "Now I've found your weakness. I've been searching for it for so long and found nothing, but now, I'll be able to defeat you easily," the voice continued with a sinister laugh.

MEANWHILE,

Taehyung was driving, with Jungkook sitting next to him, head down. Taehyung kept glancing at Jungkook out of the corner of his eye. Two cars were following them, filled with Taehyung's bodyguards. While driving, Taehyung held Jungkook's hand, gave a sly smile, and kissed the back of his hand.

Jungkook shuddered. Seeing Jungkook trembling like that, Taehyung kissed his hand again in the same manner. Jungkook squeezed his eyes shut, which made Taehyung smile as he sat up straight and continued driving. He was still holding Jungkook's hand tightly. Jungkook remained silent, still, like a statue being taken somewhere.

Taehyung stopped the car in front of a large restaurant. The restaurant was beautiful..!! Since arriving in Daegu, this was Jungkook's first time being outside. Today was the first time he had seen the stunning beauty of Daegu in winter, but he couldn't enjoy it. Seeing Jungkook looking around in awe, Taehyung smiled. It made him happy to think that his beloved had liked the place.
