Juliet didn't share Remus' anger in regards to her being questioned following the Quidditch World Cup. In fact, she would have probably found it quite slack if Barty Crouch Sr hadn't insisted on questioning her, she had the dark mark, after all. She resented, however, that they'd done it in front of Harry, Ron, and Hermione, her heart dropping as she watched her Godson stare at the faded dark mark on her forearm.

Once they apparated back to the Romilly Manor from the Burrow, Juliet put a hand on Remus' arm to stop him from pacing around the room.

"Lupin," she snapped. "It's fine. It's normal."

"It's not bloody normal!" He exclaimed, exasperated, as he stopped in front of her. "You're a Hogwarts professor, you're known and trusted by aurors, you're-"

"A woman who went to Azkaban for being a death eater," she reminded him softly, her hand still on his arm.

"You were never a death eater," he replied snappily.

Juliet grinned at him, "you and I know that, but Barty Crouch knows me from my friendship with his death eater son. People will always see this on my arm and judge, Remus, it can't be helped."

"I respect how reasonable you're being about it," he sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I'd be infuriated."

"Honestly, I think there's more pressing matters currently than whatever prejudices people may hold against me," Juliet said with a sad smile.

The man sighed and slumped down into a large, green armchair in the huge Romilly living room, his head resting on one of his hands.

"They're back," he said miserably, looking at Juliet. "We're going to have to do it all again. They died for nothing at all."

The witch nodded sadly, leaning against the back of a sofa, "like I said, we'll win again."

"Not sure I've got another war in me to be honest Jules."

"Not sure you've got a choice, Remus. Our priority is protecting Harry, it's Harry he's going to be after. We'll be better prepared this time, there'll be less... mistrust."

"Sirius-" Remus said suddenly, jumping up. "We have to tell him."

"Merlin, yes, we do. Good thinking. We also need to see Annie and James before I go back to school, we haven't in months."

"Yeah, true. Socialising feels a little... I don't know. Pointless."

"Annie is your friend, Remus. Just because you've got Sirius back it doesn't mean you can neglect her. She got you through losing us," Juliet said firmly.

"I know," he sighed. "Just... we can't talk about any of this to her."

"I'm sure James will tell her about the world cup, he's an auror after all."

"I more meant about Sirius, Roberts won't be told. Only a select couple of aurors are being told about his location."

Juliet nodded, "wonder who?"

Sirius greeted the pair with a wide grin and by pulling both of them into a hug, awkwardly leaning up to hug Remus and down to hug Juliet at the same time. Juliet almost felt guilty for what she was about to tell him, seeing that he appeared to be in a good mood. She decided that she needed to arrange for The Daily Prophet to be delivered to him, so that she and Remus didn't always have to be the bearer of bad news. She glanced at the tall man next to her on the doorstep nervously, indicating that she really didn't want to have to be the one to begin the conversation. Remus nodded, understanding, and stepped into his old house before her.
