**Title: Unspoken Bonds: Megumi x Reader**
**Part Ten**

The school day dragged on slowly, with Y/N finding it hard to concentrate on her classes. Her thoughts kept drifting back to the weird encounter from the day before, but more so, to the way Yuji had stood up for her. She felt a flutter of something in her chest every time she thought about it, a warmth spreading through her at the memory of his concerned expression and the protectiveness in his voice.

After the last bell rang, signaling the end of the school day, Y/N quickly packed up her things and made her way to the front gate. She was excited about her plans for the afternoon—Yuji had asked her to hang out, just the two of them, and she'd eagerly agreed. He'd suggested they grab some boba and then try out the ice skating rink that had recently opened in the city.

Yuji was already waiting for her by the gate, his face lighting up with a big smile when he saw her approach. "Hey, Y/N!" he called out, waving. "Ready to go?"

"Hey, Yuji!" Y/N replied, smiling back. "Yeah, I'm ready. I've been looking forward to this all day."

He grinned, his excitement contagious. "Same here. Let's get going! The boba place isn't too far from here, and then we can head to the rink."

They walked side by side through the bustling streets, chatting easily about their day. Yuji told her about a funny incident that had happened in his training session with Gojo, making Y/N laugh so hard she nearly tripped over her own feet.

"You should have seen his face," Yuji said between laughs. "Gojo-sensei was so shocked when I actually managed to dodge his attack. I thought I was done for, but then I somehow managed to sidestep, and he went flying!"

Y/N giggled, imagining the scene. "I wish I could have seen that. You're getting really good, Yuji."

He shrugged modestly but looked pleased with the compliment. "I'm trying. I just want to be strong enough to protect the people I care about, you know?"

Y/N nodded, her smile softening. "Yeah, I get that. You're doing a great job, though. I feel a lot safer with you around."

They reached the boba shop, and Yuji held the door open for her, grinning as she stepped inside. The shop was cozy and brightly lit, with a menu full of colorful drinks. They both ordered their favorites—Y/N opting for a classic taro milk tea with tapioca pearls, while Yuji went for a strawberry matcha latte.

They found a small table near the window and sat down, sipping their drinks and continuing to chat. Y/N found herself feeling more relaxed than she had in days. Yuji had that effect on people—his energy was infectious, his smile warm and genuine.

As they talked, she couldn't help but notice how his eyes sparkled when he laughed, or how his hair fell perfectly into place without him even trying. She found herself drawn to him in a way she hadn't been before, and it was both exciting and a little scary.

After they finished their boba, they made their way to the ice skating rink. The air was chilly, and Y/N shivered slightly as they approached the entrance. Yuji noticed and quickly shrugged off his jacket, draping it over her shoulders.

"Here," he said, smiling sheepishly. "You looked cold."

Y/N blushed slightly, pulling the jacket tighter around herself. "Thanks, Yuji. You're always so thoughtful."

They rented their skates and made their way onto the ice. Y/N wobbled a little as she stepped onto the rink, her legs feeling unsteady on the slippery surface. Yuji laughed, reaching out to steady her.

"Don't worry, I've got you," he said, taking her hand and guiding her onto the ice. "Just take it slow at first. You'll get the hang of it."

With Yuji's help, Y/N slowly found her balance, and soon they were gliding across the ice together, laughing and joking as they went. Yuji was surprisingly graceful on the ice, and Y/N couldn't help but be impressed by how easily he seemed to pick up the rhythm.

They skated for a while, losing themselves in the simple joy of the moment. Y/N couldn't remember the last time she'd felt so carefree. As they took a break by the edge of the rink, she found herself gazing at Yuji, her heart fluttering in her chest.

"Thanks for inviting me out today, Yuji," she said softly. "I really needed this."

He smiled, his eyes warm. "I'm glad you came. I've been wanting to spend more time with you, you know... just us."

Y/N's cheeks flushed again, her heart skipping a beat at his words. "Yeah... me too."

Meanwhile, back at Jujutsu High, Megumi was finishing up some extra training, his mind elsewhere. He had noticed Y/N leaving earlier with Yuji, and while he tried to brush it off, he couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy every time he thought about it. He had overheard their plans in passing, and the idea of Y/N spending the afternoon alone with Yuji had left him feeling uneasy.

As he left the training area, he ran into Nobara, who was lounging on a bench, scrolling through her phone. She looked up as he approached, smirking slightly.

"Hey, Megumi," she said casually. "Did you hear? Yuji and Y/N went out for boba and ice skating. Seems like they're getting pretty close."

Megumi's expression tightened, though he tried to keep his tone neutral. "Yeah, I heard," he said shortly. "Good for them."

Nobara raised an eyebrow, clearly not buying his nonchalance. "You don't sound too happy about it. Something bothering you?"

Megumi shrugged, trying to play it cool. "Why would I be bothered? They're just hanging out. No big deal."

Nobara chuckled, clearly enjoying his discomfort. "Right, no big deal. You know, it's okay to admit if you're a little jealous. I mean, Y/N's pretty great, and it's obvious Yuji's into her."

Megumi's jaw tightened at her words, a flicker of something dark passing through his eyes. "Yuji can hang out with whoever he wants," he said, his voice tense. "It doesn't matter to me."

But it did matter, more than he wanted to admit. The thought of Yuji and Y/N together, laughing and having fun, stirred something inside him—a strange, uncomfortable feeling that he didn't quite know how to deal with.

He tried to shake it off, telling himself it was just because he was protective of his friends, but deep down, he knew it was more than that. He didn't want to admit it, but he was starting to realize that he had feelings for Y/N—feelings he didn't quite know how to handle.

As he made his way back to his dorm, he couldn't help but think about Y/N and Yuji, wondering what they were doing, if they were having fun. The thought made his chest tighten, a wave of jealousy and frustration washing over him.

Back at the ice rink, Y/N and Yuji were finishing up their skating session, both of them flushed and laughing as they stepped off the ice.

"That was so much fun!" Y/N exclaimed, her eyes shining with excitement. "I haven't been ice skating in forever."

"Me neither," Yuji admitted, grinning. "But I'd definitely do it again. Especially with you."

Y/N felt her heart skip a beat at his words, a warm blush spreading across her cheeks. "I'd like that," she said softly, her eyes meeting his.

As they made their way back to the train station, Yuji and Y/N continued to talk and laugh, the tension of the past few days melting away in the warmth of their shared company. For a moment, everything felt perfect—simple and easy, like they could just be themselves without worrying about anything else.

But as they boarded the train back to Jujutsu High, Y/N couldn't help but think about Megumi. She wondered if he'd be upset that she hadn't told him about her plans with Yuji, if he'd feel left out. She hoped not, but there was a small part of her that worried about what he might think.

And as the train sped through the city, the lights of the buildings flashing by, Y/N found herself lost in thought, torn between the warmth of Yuji's friendship and the growing feelings she couldn't quite understand—feelings that seemed to be pulling her in two different directions.
