I hope in your head
You see me instead
'cause you've been in mine every day since then
Maybe it's time to find a lookalike

❤︎ Rachel really didn't know what she was doing standing there.
Well, she did know, but she didn't know how she had finally gotten the courage to be standing there.
There, being Helena Colette's apartment.
Percy had told her how they had broken up and she couldn't help but feel responsible for it.
She cringed slightly, remembering how she had kissed Percy in that death trap.
She really didn't know what she was thinking and knowing that Helena had broken up with him had left Rachel with even more guilt. She completely regretted kissing him and she needed to apologise.
She had already apologised to Percy. Multiple times. He really was a nice guy, although she could tell he was acting off.
She rolled her eyes, remembering how she had gone to his house and he refused to tell her where Helena lived, only to point down the hallway and slam the door in her face.
Boys.
Since her first visit, she had been by his apartment twice more. Percy had been odd both times but she couldn't really blame the guy. She was after all the reason the love of his life broke up with him. It had taken until the third visit but he slowly warmed back up to her after she told him she didn't like him anymore and was talking to this girl at their school.
He tended to rant to her about his relationship and how much he tried to apologise to Helena but she would always brush him off and ignore him.
All that led to this moment.
Rachel Elizabeth Dare standing outside Helena—she didn't know her middle name—Colette's apartment, trying to fix her very stupid mistake.
Standing outside her apartment with a bag of cold fries as an apology. She had remembered that awkward moment in the car when Helena had dropped her fries and Percy had said she loved them at the same time she did.
Rachel shuddered. Couples.
She heard the door unlock and braced herself.
She was met with that boy from the maze. The one with one eye, Ethan.
The one Helena had taken in. Briefly, Rachel wondered if that little emo one was also in the apartment. He tended to soften Helena up when he was around.
"You."
"Me," Rachel said. "Hi. Is Helena home?"
She didn't know why she asked, she knew she was.
Ethan shrugs. "Depends on why you're here."
Rachel opens her mouth but is cut off by a voice from inside the apartment.
"Eddy, have you seen the remote? Also, who's at the door?"
Ethan looks back over his shoulder.
"Remote is the holder you forced me to buy for you."
