Mark and Perkins rushed behind Gale and I as I followed her down the hallway. "Ungrateful little shits," Gale muttered.

"We need to find out where the Stab-a-thon is going to be," I said.

"Stab-a-thon?" Mark asked.

"It's a Stab movie marathon, and it's happening tonight," I explained.

"Oh, so third act party," Mark said and I nodded.

We walked out the front doors, still following Gale. I froze when I saw Billy and Stu sitting at the fountain, being transported back fifteen years ago. They smiled at me and I felt a shiver go down my spine, so many thoughts running through my mind.

I made my way over to them, Gale and Mark hot on my trail. "What are you guys doing here?" I asked.

"Well, Deputy D-"

"It's Sheriff now," Gale cut Stu off with a glare.

He rolled his eyes. "Sorry, Sheriff Douchebag wanted us to just sit around and look at some boring ass files."

"So we thought we'd wait for you out here," Billy said, glancing between me and the fountain. "Lots of memories right here."

"Uh huh," Stu chuckled.

I blushed, looking down while trying to collect myself. "So, what did you guys find out?" Billy asked.

"There's a party tonight, a Stab marathon," I said.

"Where at?"

"No idea, the little pricks wouldn't tell us," Gale said, still pissed off.

"I can figure it out," Stu said, standing up.

"What? How?" I asked.

"Just let the master show you, baby," he smirked, walking towards a group of teens at a bike rack a few feet away.

"Uh, couldn't he be recognized?" I asked nervously.

"He'll be fine," Billy waved me off.

We all watched Stu talk to the kids before he pulled out a plastic bag full of green stuff. My eyes widened, nervously glancing at Mark before Stu came strolling back over to us with a smug grin. "Found out when and where," he said.

"And you violated your parole," Mark smirked. "Possession and selling to minors."

Stu laughed. "It's oregano. These kids don't know the difference." I gave him a look, and he smiled sincerely. "I swear."

I sighed, turning to Mark and giving him a look. He looked down at me. "You really believe him?"

"Yes, I do." I nodded.

He frowned. "Fine."

"Anyway, where is it?" Gale asked.

Stu shrugged. "The old barn out on Dylan Road. Starts at dusk." He then looked between Billy and I. "Remember that one party I threw out there?"

"Yeah, the place smelled like shit. Why would kids want to spend hours out there?" Billy said.

"Probably because house parties can be deadly," I said, raising my eyebrow at the two of them. "Been to two, three if you count the one where Cici was murdered."

"Oh yeah, you missed the one at Jennifer's when the house blew up," Gale said. "Where were you that night?"

"We had our unofficial first date," Mark said, smiling. I smiled at the memory, but then, faltered, looking at the boys. They were looking away, fists at their sides and displeased expressions on their faces.

"Right. Anyway, we have a few hours until that party, so we should keep looking into possible leads," I said, trying to change the subject.

We were all headed to the cars and Mark was holding the door open for me when I saw Jill walking out of the school. "Hey, I'll just be a minute," I said, heading towards her.

I jogged over. "Jill, wait up," I said, gaining her attention. She stopped, looking at me in confusion. Once I was beside her, I gave her a small smile. "Hey, how's your arm?"

She looked down at it and then back at me. "Oh, uhm, it's okay I guess."

I nodded. "You know when people say "I know how you feel", but you know they're just saying that because they really have no freaking idea how you feel? I really do know how you feel."

She smiled. "Thanks. I'm uh, I'm sorry for how cold I was to you yesterday."

"No, I promise you, I get it. I'm sorry about Olivia."

"I'm sorry about your publicist." She looked around seeing people looking at us, before turning to look back at me again. "How do you handle it, people staring at you all the time?"

"People stare at me?" I asked, failing to hold back a grin.

"I could never handle that kind of attention. I just feel like it would take over your whole life."

"Uh, all I do is I...try not to think about me. I have people I care about. I focus on them." I turned my head, looking over at the cars, and seeing Mark watching the two of us. Then I moved my gaze over to see Billy and Stu sitting in a car, also watching. "And the rest, uhm, it just works out."

She looked up at me with wide eyes. "You saved my life last night. You ran into a house with a killer trying to save my friend. Makes me wonder, you know, if I'd be brave enough to do the same thing."

I set my hand on her shoulder. "I really hope you never have to find that out."

She nodded with a nervous smile. "Me too."

"I've got to go back to the station to look at some leads. But if you or your friends need anything. Don't hesitate to call." I then felt tears prick my eyes and I sighed. "I know Sidney would be proud of you, and I want to keep you safe in her memory."

Jill nodded before wrapping her arms around me, surprising me. I hugged her back gently, smiling a little. "Thank you."

We parted ways and I went back to the police car, getting in right before Mark did and we started heading to the station.
