Once Upon A Stranger Doctor (Remake)

The Battle of Shoji

*Note: Not an accurate play through of Shoji.

Both teams move along the game pieces and with every encounter, one of them either strike a hit while the Doctor and the Toymaker ponder where the next piece would go, or dodge away while the other team throws their attack. In one of the confrontation, the Demogorgon screams in front of Eleven to frighten her and then pull back its arm to strike her down, but Eleven then use her power to lift the Demogorgon up from the ground, circle around her as she step forward, and then tilt her head which cause the Demogorgon to snap its own neck. Eleven then throw the body to the side as she wipe away a nose bleed. Another confrontation has to do with Jack fighting against Peter Pan with Snow White drawing her bow back to assist Jack, but then Peter Pan jumps over Jack and chops his head off and then throw him to the side along with the others. Snow White yelled and shoot her bow but Peter Pan capture it and stare at her annoyed. But Jack's head grows right back and he gasp for air as he sit up. Another confrontation had Steve and Bill surrounding Ursula, preparing to jump on her when the opportunity was ready, but Ursula grab both of their throats by her own tentacles and laughs as she goes around Steve and hit him on the back of his head. Steve falls unconscious as Ursula throws him to the side, while Ursula continue to hold Bill until the Doctor could make his move to either find a way to attack her or try to avoid her. But all while everyone else was fighting, Rory, Regina, and Nardole sneaking around between the trees to attack the Lord of the Underworld himself; Hades, and while the Wicked Witch, Cora, and Captain Hook slowly make their way to attack Prince Charming.

Meanwhile, in the castle

The Doctor panics as he looks back-and-forth at the board and the screen, then looking at the pieces who fell during the match. He knows every lost, every attack, are hurting his friends, but there is no instance he can see where his friends won't get hurt.

Toymaker:"Come on, Doctor. Don't look so down. Drink your tea. You haven't touched it since we started. Perhaps it'll help you think better."

The Toymaker' cups refills by itself and then she takes another sip. The Doctor groans as he continue to stare at the board then he looks up to the Toymaker.

Doctor:"Tell me something."

Toymaker:"Hmm?"

Doctor:"How did you even get out? Why are you even out? Last time we met, you were afraid to even leave your Toyroom."

The Toymaker then burst out laughs.

Toymaker:"And you believe that?!"The Toymaker continue to laugh. Then she slowly stops laughing."Oh, no. Dear me, no. I was never really afraid to leave, Doctor. I was just playing along. It was Christmas after all. And every Christmas special needs a metaphorical message or symbolism of what the holidays are really about. But I do treasure your gift. Oh, best gift I had in ages."

Doctor:"Why?"The Doctor makes his move."Why pretend to even be afraid?"

Toymaker:"Why shouldn't I? Just look at you. You're perfect. You look just like when we first met. I had to take the opportunity when it was still fresh. And believe me, you did not disappoint. And you know what, it was good to put on that old face again. It has been a lifetime since I wore it."

Doctor:"What do you mean by that?"

Toymaker:"Hmm? Oh, you know how it goes. I get bored for so long, I desperately need a change."

Doctor:"No. What do you mean it's been a 'lifetime' since that face?"

The Toymaker then smirks.

Toymaker:"Oh, Doctor. You definitely have no clue. I've been traveling amongst the worlds for a long time now."The Toymaker move her piece."Both in yours and in other universes. But I always come back to yours because you are there. And only you are my playmate. If I were to play with any other version of you in this multiverse, it just won't feel the same. They'll just be copies of you."
