Once Upon A Stranger Doctor (Remake)

Stranger World

Mike paces around the living room while his sister, Nancy, waits patiently and impatiently on the couch. Mike then looks at his watch and sighs.

Nancy:"Can you just calm down?!"

Mike:"He's late."

Nancy:"It's just been 7 minutes."

Mike:"How come he can be on time when it's about you and him, but when it's time for us to go, he's late?"

Nancy:"Oh, come on. You act like this is a command thing."

Mike:"It sure feels like that."

All of a sudden, they hear a honk. They step out of the house and see Steve on the driveway.

Nancy and Mike walk to Steve's car.

Nancy:"What are you doing here?"

Steve:"Jonathan told me to get you. Seems like there was a swap at the last minute."

Nancy:"Is everything okay?"

Steve:"I think. It sounded like a minor inconvenience."

Mike:"Good enough for me. Let's go already."

Mike enters the back seat while Nancy sits in the front passenger seat.

Few minute later

Steve:"Sooo... How are things going for you, Mike? Are you ready for March? Because... believe me, I'm ready for that heat to come."

Mike:"Everything is going fine."

Steve:"Really? How about your homework? You better be doing that and not be thinking about El all the time, or be stuck playing D&D in that basement with the others. You can not go anywhere if you start slacking because you're desperate."

Mike slowly facepalm.

Mike:"Oh. My. God."

Steve:"Listen, I know how things will go. At first, it's just all fun and games, living in the moment. But once you hit a certain age, that's when you need to control and remember your priorities. Fun and games don't last forever. At some point... Well, I would say take responsibility, but... we basically already have that done. But the normal world is not always about defeating monsters or... or sci-fi stuff. You understand?"

Mike:"Yes, yes."

Steve:"Good."

Mike leans forwards and turn his head to his sister.

Mike(Whisper):"You know, I would have rather waited for Jonathan a lot longer now."

Nancy chuckle as she nods.

Steve:"Hey! Back in the seat!"Mike pulls back and sit back down."And put on that seatbelt."

Mike groans.

Mike:"Fine!"

Mike puts on the seatbelt and Steve hears the click and nods his head.

Later

They reach the cabin within the woods. They all exit the car and Mike rushes towards the door and does a secret knock, and then the door opens and they all stare at Jonathan.

Jonathan:"Hey. Come in."

They all enter and Jonathan closes the door.

Eleven:"Mike!"

Mike:"El."

Eleven rushes towards Mike and they both wrap arms around each other and hold each other tight. All while Dustin, Lucas, Max, and Will, sit on the couch and chairs with the 'Monopoly' board on top of a chest.
