Poor Sakura

"Tsunami! Inari! I'm home!"

"Father, you're back! Inari! You're grandfather is here!" She then turned back to Tazuna. "Are these the ninja who escorted you--Oh my!"

She was talking about Sakura.

--Flashback--

Naruto threw a kunai at a bush. A white bunny cane out running for safety.

"Nice one." Sasuke said smirking.

"Shut up! There was someone--"

Kakashi cut him off abruptly.

"GET DOWN!"

A humongous sword flew over their heads and stuck firmly into a tree behind them.

"Tch. Missed 'em." The figure on the blade said.

"Zabuza Momochi, Demon of the Hidden Mist." Kakashi stated.

"Wow. It's a pleasure, to be able to fight Kakashi Hatake, The Copy-Cat Ninja."

Naruto then exclaimed, "3! 2! 1! Fight!"

They all just stared at him.

"Well? Aren't you gonna fight?"

"Hmph." And with that Zabuza ran at Kakashi trying to run him through with his sword. He almost didn't block it. He struggled to push up against Zabuza.

"That's one strong kunai." Amazed that it could stand up to the weight and strength of Kubikiribocho.

Kakashi faced Naruto and Sasuke. "Naruto! Sasuke! Run away! Protect Sakura and Tazuna!"

'Here is another ability. Explode. When you are strong enough you can use it to explode from inside someone's body.'

'Thank you. Explode!'

The explosion knocked Zabuza back a few feet.

"What the hell was that?", Zabuza exclaimed. Kakashi was also surprised but he didn't let that stop his assault.

Zabuza used Substitution on Sakura. Making Kakashi stab her in the stomach.

"Oooh. Is that how you treat your genin?" Zabuza mocked.

Naruto grumbled to himself. "That's how they treated me."

Zabuza created a mist to hide himself.

"I can't see anything!" Naruto exclaimed.

'Hmm. Oh well. Explode! Explode! Explode!'

The sound of explosions went on in the mist.

"Ahh! Shit!"

'Haha! Got him!'

It was Kakashi's body that fly out of the mist with scorch marks.

'...Oops.'

Zabuza jumped out of the mist to slice him in half but was redirected by a mysterious explosion. His sword flew out of his hand and he fell on his knees with a crunch.

The sword on the other hand flew towards Sakura.

Sadly, she survived. But the opened part of the sword was so close to her throat it would cut her if she swallowed.

And sadly-for her-she did.

Out of nowhere, two senbon hit Zabuza in the neck. A hunter ninja jumped out from the tree.

"Thank you for helping me take him out." The Hunter ninja said.

"No problem." Kakashi said as he walked over to the pinned down Sakura. When he pushed the blade off of Sakura's throat the hunter picked it up and sealed it into a scroll. She then used shunshin to leave with Zabuza's body.

"Well...,that was fun."

--Flashback End--

"Quickly, get her inside!" Tsunami yelled.

'Why can't she just bleed out?' Both Naruto and Sasuke thought.
