Bad Influence

Naruto was resting near a field which he destroyed during his training. Grumbling about kids who don't know any better.

'Damn Inari. Whatever. Hey, Kurama do I get any more powe-"

'WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME NINGEN?!'

Naruto's face went pale. 'F-Forgive me master! I forgot my place.' The fox was absolutely livid.

'Never forget that! Despite your mistake, I will help you. Never say I wasn't merciful and forgiving. There is another way to use Influence. You can use it to assert your will on others. Use it on the boy.'

'What boy, master?'

A beautiful young woman came up to Naruto's laying body. She smiled. "If you stay out here you could catch a cold."

'That boy.'

Naruto blanched and became even paler the the...creature in front of him.

'No way!' Naruto mustered up his courage to ask the one dreadful question.

"Are you a boy or a girl?"

The pale figure looked surprised and then giggled. Amusment dancing in their eyes.

"I am a boy. Disappointed?"

Naruto sputtered, "N-No way!" But had thought, 'Maybe...' As he regained his composure he looked the boy in the eyes.

"Influence!" The boy's iris turned red signaling Naruto's power over him. "You are now my minion. You will do whatever I ask, whenever I ask. Understand?"

"Yes...master."

"Now what is your name?"

"Haku, master."

"Where are you from, Haku?"

"The Land of Snow, master."

"What is your current occupation?"

"I am a civilian, but able to be a ninja, master."

"How so?"

"My bloodline gives the the ability to control ice, master."

"Why are you here?"

"Zabuza and I are here to assassinate the bridge builder, Tazuna."

"Alright, here is your first assignment, pretend to still be loyal to Zabuza, but when I call your name you will kill Zabuza. Understood?"

"Yes master."

Naruto's face turned serious. "One last question," He looked Haku straight in the eyes and asked, "Are you really a boy?"

"Yes I am, master."

"...You may go now."

"Yes master."

Back where Naruto was all was quiet. He looked very distressed. And all throughout the forest you could hear a resounding, "NOOOOOO!"

--Training Area--

Sakura's day started terribly. All she could think about was how terrifying her dream was. And the fact that she wasn't even sure if it was a dream or not certainly wasn't helping.

She and Sasuke were doing tree walking exercises. Near Tazuna's house to keep an eye on the family. She was far ahead of her crush. She looked down with an effort to try to impress him.

"Hey, Sasuke-kun, look at me! I'm so high up!"

"Tch." He had only glared at her in contempt. Kakashi was around here-somewhere-in the trees because all she could hear was that creepy giggling.

"I wonder where the baka is..." Then she remembered her nightmare. And felt a little chilly in fear.

"Hey, Sakura-chan! How are you?" A familiar voice said.

She turned around and Naruto was right behind her with a devilish smile. The same smile she saw in her nightmare.

She screamed, her heart stopped and she fell off of the tree she was walking on. She would have snapped her neck as soon as she hit the ground if it wasn't for Kakashi.

He just barely caught the pink-haired genin. He sighed relived then narrowed his eyes at Naruto. Knowing he had something to do with it. "What happened?"

Naruto looked confused. "All I said was, 'Hey' and she screamed and fell." He grinned, "And she would of broken her neck and died too, if it wasn't for you, Kakashi-sensei. Good on you."

For some reason Kakashi got the feeling that Naruto meant that in the most malicious way possible.

"We will talk about this, Naruto." Kakashi glared at him and ran to Tazuna's house with Sakura in his arms.

"I'm trembling in my sandals." Naruto said mockingly. He turned back to the tree walking up it again.

-Tazuna's House-

Kakashi looked at his genin student in concern. It was her first real mission and she had almost died on multiple occasions.

"Sakura? Hello? Are you okay?"

No response.

He put two finger to her neck and found no pulse.

"Oh shit."

-With Naruto and Sasuke-

They both rose their heads up.

"For some strange reason..." Sasuke started.

"...I feel as if all is right in the world." Naruto finished.

Grinning madly to each other, they skipped to Tazuna's house with one arm around the other's shoulder.
