"Someone want to tell me what the hell just happened?"

"I was attacked and I defended myself."

"He's lying Hokage-sama! He slaughtered them!"

"In self-defense." Naruto countered.

The Hokage glared at the silver haired man. "You are in no position to speak Kakashi."

Kakashi flinched at the venom in his voice.

'Ask him about me. He can't lie to you now.'

"Hey old man...why didn't you tell me about the Nine-Tails?"

He started to sweat like he did in the hospital.

"Naruto, I couldn't tell you because you weren't ready. I wanted you to live a normal life. But I can see that it didn't work out so well. I'm sorry Naruto. I'm so sorry."

'I think he means it.' Naruto thought to himself.

'NO!! DO NOT TRUST THIS SENILE OLD FOOL! HE'S LYING TO YOU JUST LIKE ALL THE REST! I AM THE ONLY ONE YOU CAN TRUST! THE ONLY ONE!' Kyuubi raged.

'Y-Yeah...you're right sorry.'

"It's okay Jiji."

"No it's not. Naruto, I have something to tell you."

"What is it?"

"Your father...was the Fourth Hokage."

"What?!/WHAT?!" Kakashi was the only one genuinely surprised. Naruto faked it.

Kakashi was completely stunned.

"The son of..." He trailed off when he took a good look at Naruto. "Kami...I'm so sorry. Please forgive me." Kakashi actually bows down in hopes of forgiveness.

"There is no need for that."

"Thank you."

"Well you're officially a genin now. Congrats!" Sarutobi said. "Here's a headband."

"Yatta!" Naruto cheers. "Man, I'm tired."

"See you in the morning."

"Good night Naruto."

"G'night." Naruto then left the room. But overheard the two in the room speaking.

"The council will have to be told of what has occurred. One can only imagine if Naruto was not forgiving and loyal."

"That...is a scary thought."

'If only you knew.' Naruto thought to himself.

--Next Morning--

"Today is the last time I see that damn school." The walk to school was rather pleasant despite the glares he received. When he arrived to school he was given strange looks.

"Hey dobe. You don't belong here." Kiba sneered.

"Don't you see the headband mutt." Many were surprised Naruto said that.

"Meh. You probably stole it."

"Yeah! There's no way a dead last like you could pass!"

"Please refrain from antagonizing your classmates." said the Hokage.

"Hokage-sama!"

"I gave Naruto that headband. Iruka, Mizuki and many others have killed many of the civilians in the village. Naruto killed the traitors. And besides there is an announcement I have to make. Naruto is the son of our beloved Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze."
