It was after karan had brought draupadi to his home. At first it was hard to accept her but then radha and aadhirat started loving her as their daughter. Vrushali had been her great support, she used to carry her mood swings and the newly found baby kick. That was surprising but with draupadi's detraining health hectic for her. She was in her 8th month almost closer to welcome her child but the mourn of loosing him was above all. She had forgotten smiling. Her daily routine was like, eat, rest, work, eat and rest. Only with vrishsen she could talk little much but that too wasn't from heart. On a fine night draupadi had been sitting in her room and it was almost mid night. Vrushali had made her drink the milk and warned her to sleep soon but only if she gets it. Her dreams were clouded with him. She tries to distract herself but his very smiling face makes it all unworthy.
"Why did you leave me? I can't do this all alone. How will i take care of your child without you? Please comeback to me! Please!" She cried looking at those bangles. She was in pain from the morning itself but was ignoring it and now suddenly the emotional pain. Her heart was bleeding by just thinking that he wasn't alive. She felt like giving up, but none of it is happening. Neither she could live, nor could die.Her face was turning red and tears were continuously coming out. Her hand reached to her stomach as she pressed there feeling unbearable pain. "Yudhishthir!!" His name came out of her mouth which was involuntary. Her mind was now playing games, it was again and again reminding her about him and she was falling weak. "I won't be able to live without you. What will happen to our child if something happened to me? Who will take care of him? Come back for your child, please! Please come back!" She sobbed vulnerablely. Her hissing voices were now reaching outside which alerted the other members.
Vrushali came running inside to see draupadi half laying on the bed with her hands tightly pressed on the stomach. "Malini! Are you ok? Is it paining?"
"I can't bear it anymore. It will kill me!" She cried out. Vrushali comforted her then called karan asking him to bring daimaa.
Few hours spent and now draupadi was so much into pain. The daimaa checked her and told the others about the chance. As due to draupadi's poor health chances were there that she may not survive or any of from child or mother could die. It scared them all, karan requested to save both of them as if the child died then draupadi will break to unhealed and if something happened to draupadi then who will look around her child.
"Jiji!" Draupadi breathed in heavily, she was tightly holding vrushali's hand with a completely sweaty face, messy hair and vulnerable condition.
"Please save my child. If anything happened to me then take care of him as your child. Please! It's last symbol of my love, jiji. I can't loose it. Please!!" She requested and vrushali couldn't say more. She caressed her head and tried to comfort her only.
Few time spent and finally after suffering from unendurable pain she gave birth to a healthy boy. After giving birth to the child she had been unconscious and her health was too delicate. Vrushali had taken care of the child untill his mother got back to senses. After the wait of one complete day draupadi had finally opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was her belly which was invisible now. A fear struck in her heart and she tried to move but sat back due to the pain.
"What are you doing? Don't move!" Karan came with vrishsen. He settled her back and asked to lay down.
"Bhrata, my child?" With trembling voice she asked and he smiled. He called vrushali and she came with a newborn small baby in her hands. The scene overwhelmed her. She couldn't see it anymore as tears had blurred her vision. "Look how beautiful is your son. I can't take off my eyes from him."
