"How will you hide it from jiji arya? She has to know about this." Draupadi asked a bit strictly walking straight where her husband was.

"I don't have the guts to face her panchali. She is like our mother, how would I see her breaking before my eyes.  Please handle this." He pleaded with guilty eyes. They were in the court when he got a letter from karan. He had quietly kept that on side not knowing how to share the news. Then after arriving in the chamber draupadi was first to get informed by the news. It was shocking for them but at same time yudhishthir knew that karan had his reasons, whatever he did was for strengthening political alliances.

Draupadi there was standing clueless, she doesn't know how to break the news before vrushali.

"Which wife would be happy knowing her husband has married another woman?" Her words came out to which yudhishthir snapped his head at her.

"I am feeling sad for bhabhishree but it's inappropriate to call the princess another woman. She is jyesth's wife now, and holds all the respect from us. I believe there must be some unavoidable circumstances at which jyesth has to marry Princess Urvi__"

Before he could complete she cut him and stated her firm sentence.

"Whatever it is, but he has broken jiji's heart. Married someone else without her permission."

"I agree with you but try to understand his side also. We are doing Rajasuya yagya and other king's submissions are must to independent ourselves and establish dharma. Whatever jyesth did was to bring Pukhiya kingdom under indraprastha's ally. He married princess urvi to strengthen the alliance so that her father King Vasuhah won't go against us. It's one of the strongest kingdoms, their support would be beneficial." His words had just added fuel over the fire born's anger. She couldn't digest these words from him.

"You are a great king, Maharaj yudhishthir. Just talking about the benefits of your kingdom but what about the wives you brothers have? I am shocked to hear this from you. Answer me would you marry some princess to strengthen your allies?" She asked and he knew now handling her would be tough. He stepped near her but she showed her palm stopping him in mid.

"I have promised you__"

"Promises are not a big deal for kings to break. Just answer me in yes or no. Would you marry if these circumstances come before you?" Her words hurt him, the tone she was using was now piercing into his heart.

"There's no logic for these nonsense arguments panchali. We are fighting for no reason." He maintained the calm while keeping his voice soft for her.

"There's a reason maharaj. You have always chosen others before me, what's the guarantee that you would not marry for second time?" Draupadi didn't know what she was saying, she was just too much angry for talking to him now. Him taking karan's side and justifying his act had hitted her and she lost the control on her tongue.

"Are you at your senses? You are making it a big issue. I haven't married for hearing this. You were always my priority, when did I chose someone other before you." He asked coming near her and she snapped at him.
"Your sister! Years ago you had choosen your sister before me. You chose to save her character staking mine at risk. I was banished from the kingdom because of you. Lived like a commoner for carrying your child. Took the allegation of a characterless woman. What would have you done if I had married someone else__"

"ENOUGH DRAUPADI!"

Draupadi flinched at her place, her eyes instantly softened as she looked at his side. She had forgotten the track of her words and began blaming him for everything. Realization hitted her and she felt guilty. Even after knowing the truth she blamed him for the thing. How did she forget that he chose his sister to save her life too. Dushala had told her how jaydrath had planned to attack panchal just to take revenge from yudhishthir and marry draupadi. She cursed herself but at same time was scared too.
He was very much angry and his glares were too much to take. She could feel tears forming in her eyes and her anger cooled down long ago.
