~ Uneasiness

"I don't want to marry anyone." The statement passed firmly as yudhishthir stood up from his place but kunti was stubborn today. She had decided to convince him by any way. "But what's the reason putra. Your two anuj are already married and you being the eldest isn't even thinking about it. You are a king yudhishthir, it's your dharm to give a heir to this kingdom..." 

"Maata, my anuj's children are mine too. Bheem Or arjun's first child will be the heir of indraprastha. And I'm still firm on my place. I don't want to marry. I respect your choice and belive me rajkumari maithili is perfect human but with due respect I don't want to marry her. Not because she lacks anything but because I will not be able to love and fulfill the duties of husband." He told not thinking much and that was what kunti not prepared for. She sat on the couch with a sigh.
"Heir is just a reason yudhishthir. I want you to settle down. I want to see my son's children. Will you spend whole life like this, lonely? Don't you desire to have a wife and children." She questioned and he couldn't lie. He walked near her and sat near her feet, keeping his head on her lap.

"I won't lie. I dreamt to have children, have a beautiful life with her but now I don't. I won't be able to love anyone else." He told and kunti knew what he meant. She never knew about whom her son talks but she knew that something wasn't right.

Maithili was walking around the palace while consuming the beautiful view of indraprastha when she got bumped into someone. She looked up and saw the youngest pandav. Her eyes scanned as the prince bent down to pick his books which fell down. She too sat there and started helping him. While handing over the books their hands brushed and they looked at each other. Shadev was astonishing with her beautiful eyes as for the first time he saw someone so close to himself. He couldn't control himself but then suddenly the thoughts of her supposed to be his jyesth's bride crosses his mind and he lowered his eyes. Maithili too for sometime was captivated. She didn't know why.

After apologizing to him she left hurriedly while shadev kept looking at her disappearing figure.

The chariot stopped on the borders as the soldiers started checking them and then permitted to enter. Draupadi covered her head with the drape and then covered her face too as she didn't want anyone to see her. She carried her sleeping son properly on her lap while vrishsen hugged her from the other side, she secured him with her other hand and sat with the children. Vrushali smiled as she was admiring them three.

"Arya, I just wish that she gets the love and respect she deserves. I don't want to see her broken again, it took a lot of time for her to heal." Vrushali said as karn assured her that everything will be fine. And if not then he will get involved in it. He has accepted her as his own sister and with that relation he will surely make his sister and nephew's life better.

Soon they reached at where vrushali's father live. He was a small jeweller in town. Vrushali went to her father and met him. Seeing that draupadi's eyes filled with tears. She left her father, her sister, her brother. She left everything behind. And now she was alone. Her son who deserves to be the prince of kingdom is living a life of commoner. Is she doing wrong with him?
Karan took prativindya in his arms while vrishsen walked beside his father and followed by draupadi. They all settled down and vrushali began preparing for their dinner after the long journey.

Yudhishthir jerked opened his eyes, his sight searched around as suddenly he was feeling uneasiness. He drank some water and tried to calm down but it was getting out of his hands. His heart was beating unusually fast and feeling scared, he was feeling her presence but how will it? She isn't there. He took long breathe but still his uneasiness wasn't going.

To calm himself he came out of his chamber and walked outside in the garden. The weather was good today and winds were flowing with rhythm.
"Achanak se mere hriday ko aapke hone ka abhas kyu ho raha hai panchali. Kya aap vastav mein hai ya fir yeh bhi mera koi abhas hai."
He said keeping his palm on the chest. His heart was wishing to see her but at the same time mind was confused on how will she be there.

Around the mid night draupadi changed her side. Sleep was far away from her now, she was feeling desperate, unwillingly but she was feeling happy. Her heart was longing to meet him to tell him that they are parents of a son. She wanted to know what will he say. How will he react after seeing their son? He will be happy. He will love his son more than anything. She smiled kissing on her son's head and hugged him to her heart then slept thinking positive.

"He's your son dharmraj. Your and my son." She told showing prativindya. Her eyes we're watery with tears while looking at the man she loved most. Whereas he came forward and instead of happiness she saw anger on his face. He came furiously and grabbed her neck.
"You characterless woman. You stoop so low for power that brought a random child claiming as mine. He can't be my son. He must be your illegitimate child. Just like you slept with me you had done with any other man too."

Her eyes widened in horror as she realised her mistake of coming to him. He denied to accept his own son calling her characterless.

"Trust me, he is our son. I only loved you." She told desperately holding on his arm. She stopped him from going only to face his anger. "I told you not to disturb my life again. Why did you come back? I'm happy in my life with my wife."

"No! You can't marry someone else. You can't leave me like this." She said but he pushed her back. "Soldiers, throw this woman and her son behind bars." She cried to stop him. Told him that it's his son but he disappeared.

Draupadi sat up crying. Her surrounding changed suddenly as she saw darkness around and then saw her son sleeping peacefully. "It was a dream?" She said and wiped her sweat and tears. That was horrible.
"What if he denied to accept prativindya? What if he has already married? He had told me to live from his life then why had I come here? It's not right. I should not meet him. It's better to spend my life without him." She said as her heart bleeding with immense pain. What condition she had made of herself? She shouldn't have come here. Her heart was pushing her towards him and mind was telling to move away.
