Hi sakhis,

I want to tell you that, this story is purely my imagination and don't compare it with original mahabharat. The events here are different and fictional. I am writing only about Yudhishthir and draupadi's love story.

..................................................................

"

Arya!! Arya please save me!! Arya, I am here!" He heard her calling her. Her crying voice breaking his heart. He tried to run near her, tried to hold her hand but one step he took closer she moved backwards. His blood turned cold as he saw her nearing towards the cliff. He ran faster but couldn't take her hold.

"Priye please stop right there. Don't move behind. Please stop there panchali!"

"Save me arya! Please come to me!" She kept repeating those words untill her figure faded away from his view.

"Panchali!!!"

A heavily breathing and sweating yudhishthir jerked off from his sleep. His eyes bloody red as he madly looked around to search her. Fortunately his wife was sleeping beside him. He touched her head and confirmed that she was real. Relief washed over him as he closed his eyes with full of stress and anxiety.
After the nightmare, unable to sleep anymore he got up and walked outside the chamber. Today sitting with the scrolls was also not working. He couldn't concentrate on his work. Not when he knew something will happen. Something will come and destroy everything, and he won't be able to do anything. His trembling hands covered his ears as again her words started vibrating in his ears. Those horrible words.

"You would never be happy, Samrat yudhishthir! Everything will be snatched away from you. You won over aryavarth, became the samrat but these luxuries will haunt you one day. You will realise my pain when you will loose your love. Each day you will mourn, every single minute you will yearn for her and you won't be able to have that pleasure. Just like I'm mourning for my husband, you will do the same for your wife. It's my curse!"

His whole body shivered as goosebumps formed over his arms. He could feel the sweat dripping out from his forehead and eyes turning blood shot red. He never faced something more horrible and terrifying than that day's events. He regret going there, he regret everything that happened there.
It was feeling like he would go mad thinking all those. His brothers tried to normalize the situation but when it comes for her, he couldn't handle it. Already they had faced the heartbreaking seperation once and now again another. Before loosing her he would like to give upon his own life.

"Arya!"

He jerked on his place and immediately cleared his face then turned to her. Draupadi was standing at the doorstep, her hands over the grown belly as she stepped with little efforts. He went near her and held her shoulder and one hand then made her sit on the couch while taking the place near her feet.
Draupadi could see his worry, she know something was wrong but couldn't ask him as he would avoid it. She kept her palms on his cheeks while he did efforts to smile but failed miserably.

"What are you doing here? Are you worried about something?" He held her palm and kissed there then kept his head on her lap. She stroked his hair whole he touched her belly trying to calm himself.

"What will i do if anything happened to you? I would go mad__"

"Nothing is going to happen and if something did then you don't have the right to go mad. Don't forget maharaj you have the responsibility of my children. My soul will haunt you if any trouble caused to them." She joked and he looked at her blankly. Draupadi laughed at him as she leaned a bit and kissed on his head.
