Sandman: You little twirp. I ain't got no interest in fighting you!

Shouting at Luffy, Sandman then turns away from his prisoners. With the power dampener collars attached to their necks, they lost all ability to escape.

Spider-Man: Marko!

He stumbled in front of the gang, holding onto the bars for support. Luffy was right beside him swinging his arm to try and reach out towards Sandman.

Spider-Man: What's your endgame here? Why endanger everyone in this city!?

Sandman: No one's endangered web-head! Not 'less I want them to be!

Kitty: You call the massive wind burst when you put up your dome, "not endanger anyone"?

Craig: Yeah! I nearly got blown to kingdom-Come because of that! Let alone normal people!

Sandman: Small sacrifice for my greater good.

Sandman; Perhaps you already noticed, but just across the street is a wizards house.

Sandman: Imma rob it for this magic thingamajig that can turn me back to normal.

Sandman: I'll finally be able to eat again. To sleep. And bring back my daughter.

Spider-Man; Daughter? Bring back?

Sandman:....

Sandman: She passed away a year's back.

Spider-Man: I'm sorry... I didn't know.

Spider-Man: But Marko, magic isn't simple! If bringing back people without a cost was that easy, then-

Robin: He's aware of the cost.

Spider-Man: Huh?

Robin: As a practitioner of arcana and mysticism, I've told him the cost to bring his daughter back.

Robin: That being most of the lives within the city.

Everyone:?!

Spider-Man: Marko! You can't!

Sandman: I can and I will, Spider-Man! This world has taken enough of me!

Sandman: So it's time I take it back. Just count your lucky stars that I need a few.

Sandman: Because if I needed every life, I would take it!

*Rumble*

The sand ceiling begins to crumble, pouring sand and filling the cage. The sand didn't pour out of the bars but because part of it, made a wall.

Spider-Man:!

Spider-Man: Marko!

*Slam* *Slam*

Spider-Man: Mar- AGH!?

Pulling a wound open, Spidey falls to his back in pain.

Sandman: Give it up, Spidey. Even if you got out, you neither got the strength to stop me or the others who are on their way.

Sandman: Robin. As planned right?

Robin: I'll break in from the bottom and let you in from the front.

Sandman:(nods)

Sandman: Sorry it had to end this way.

Luffy: Hey! Stop ignoring me! And fight me, Polo!

Sandman: It's Marko!

Luffy: Fight me!

Sandman: *sigh* Whatever.
