On a cloudy night, filled with polluted air, a lady with greying hair sat on a train with her hood up. Peeking out the window, she saw dozens of mutants and humans marching like cattle as Sentinels led them across town.Every building was installed with a large screen on each side, displaying the most wanted and their current bounty.
Looking over at one with defeated eyes, the woman saw the name Monkey D Luffy his bounty crossed off with a stamp marking him dead.
Woman:!!
"I'm sorry everyone. I'm dead."
She was there to witness those last words he gave with his smile.
For a moment the woman was lost, not knowing what she should do now. However as the moment passed, so did the sorrowful gaze as it was replaced with burning determination.
There was some she could do. And she would do it.
(German airspace)
(Present day...)
The D-Men flew out of England with relatively no trouble, however, the more keen observers and deducers knew to stay on edge, the expect the unexpected.
Kitty, Sanji and Laura, from most on edge to least, were ready for an attack. Sanji was more on edge due to Robin's attitude. She was becoming a bit more closed off from the team she so openly presented herself to.
Kitty, despite being on edge was fast asleep, still fighting off the affects of the gas.
Robin herself was concerned about what the D-Men might learn about her.
Sanji: Robin-swan?
Robin: Hm?
Sanji: Due you know anything about these S.W.O.R.D guys?
Luffy: Like knights and samurai!?
Craig: No, like the guys that were on the ground when we came back.
Luffy:.... Mmm... Doesn't ring a bell.
Robin: S.W.O.R.D.... It's simply a rebranded S.H.I.E.L.D. under new management...
Robin: Ever since the incident with Nick Fury. The government has fully ceased the agency, and they seem to have handed it to someone...
Robin: I don't know who...
Craig: But what were they looking for?
Robin:....
Robin: It's probably one of us...
Robin:(smiles) Yes, after all we're all quiet exceptional. They have probably scouted one of us out for S.H.I.E.L.D's X-Agents.
Guido: X-Agents...?
Robin: They go by many names... Warlords... Mutant operatives...
Robin: What they really are, are a list of mutants that have, are, or are willing to work for a government.
Robin: S.H.I.E.L.D had picked seven to give privlages in exchange for their service.
Laura: I never heard of that before.
Robin: Why would you? These seven aren't all heroes. Some are cruel villains.
Tak: Super Fascinating... However. Why?
Robin: Why hire these Warlords? Well... It has to do with the four Emperor's.
Laura: There are emperor's now?
