chapter 5

i went into my bathroom and removed my makeup and washed my face. i took my phone and texted ashton and told him about tonight.

he was my best friend, well out of luke, michael, and him. we were all best friends but we were just a little closer.

i headed back downstairs to get rose and ask her a couple questions.

"um hey can you come in my room really quick?" i asked her.

"yeah sure." she replied getting up from the couch.

she came into my room and i looked at my vanity.

"how do you do all of the makeup stuff. i really liked it and i felt better with it on." i asked.

"well, this is the foundation i used." she explained picking up a little glass bottle.

"you can put a little on the back of your hand and use a brush or sponge thing to blend it in. then, use a brush and put some powder on it and put that all over your face." she explained as i tried to comprehend all of this.

she explained the eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara and it made sense.

"you can keep this stuff, i have stuff at home that i use other than this anyways."

"thanks."

"you should probably get ready for bed." she smirked looking at the small clock on my wall.

"yeah i probably should." i smiled as she went back downstairs.

i changed into my really soft pants and a big sweatshirt.

i made my way back to my bathroom and brushed my teeth then grabbed my phone.

i got a text from chase, ashton, and calum.

i went straight to calum's text to see what he said.

c: hey, wanna hang out tomorrow.
m: yeah, what do u wanna do
c: we can just hang out and my place if you want to?
m: sure
c: okay, we can walk home together so see me after school.
m: you got it

i went into my text messages and looked at chase's text.

c: goodnight love you💜
m: love you too you dweeb💜

i then looked at ashton's

a: i hope you had fun! how did it go?
m: it was fun and it went really good.
a: so when can we hang out again?
m: um, wanna hang out thursday? (the day after hanging with calum)
a: yeah! sorry gtg to bed. gn love you💜
m: love you tooooooo💜

ashton and i never had a relationship outside of being best friends. we said i love you all the time and held hands while we skipped down the street and stuff like that but nothing past that.

i plugged my phone in and closed my eyes thinking the night over, perfect.

i finally felt my eyelids become heavy and i fell asleep.

"wake up!" i heard rose yell as she jumped on my bed.

"did it storm last night?" i asked smirking.

"yeah." rose said blushing.

rose always stayed the night when it stormed because she was afraid of them like me. thank the lord i fell asleep before it hit.

"you have to get ready for school though." she added while pulling the blankets off of my bed.

"ugh fine. i'll get up." i groaned walking to my bathroom. i looked at the clock on the wall, 7:03.
