*skip to end of school day*

"hey!" i said hugging calum as we met as his locker.

i never got called down to the office or anything throughout the day, so i guess no one told the teachers about katie.

i mean, my mom doesn't really care anymore about what we do. she's still acting so weird, and i'm worried.

whenever i ask her about why she's been acting different, she just tells me to not worry about it.

"c'mon." calum said taking my hand and steering me through the crowded hallways.

i don't know what it was, but him just holding my hand made me feel special to someone.

i made it feel like he really cares about me. when i talk about personal problems and stuff, the boys usually don't get what i'm feeling.

ashton always does though.

when we finally made it out of the building, calum waited for me to be right by his side.

"ugh, i hate the school hallways." i groaned.

"i know, especially after school." he chuckled back.

"so, what are we gonna do at your house?" i asked.

"eh, i have ice-cream..."

"ice-cream?" i said.

"yea-"

"I LOVE ICE-CREAM!" i shouted.

"good, because i have a lot. i have junk food, oversized hoodies and sweatpants, a couch and movies."

damn he's good.

"your the best." i said hugging his side a little.

"i think i deserve a real hug." he shrugged still walking.

"okay then." i said stepping in front of him so he couldn't keep walking.

"hug me." i laughed walking into him.

he still smelled so good. i could feel his chin on the top of my head. i had my arms securely around his waist probably squeezing him half to death.

we stood there hugging for about a minute then it started to drizzle.

"i hate rain." i mumbled.

we walked a couple minutes back to his house and finally escaped the rain.

we went up to his room and he gave me new clothes to change into since mine were wet.

his room looked similar to mine, band posters on the walls, blue walls, a small bed in the corner.

i went into his bathroom and changed into his hoodie and adidas sweats.

i walked out and calum was wearing another sweatshirt himself and a pair of basketball shorts.

"you look good." he said before hugging me again.

if this is what its like dating him, sign me up.

his hug made me feel protected.

"i need ice-cream." i giggled into his chest.

"oh yeah." he said bring me down stairs to his kitchen.

he pulled out the freezer and it was filled with ice-cream.

strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, waffle cone, brownie, peanut butter, caramel, peach, and my favorite cookies n' cream.
