as children;

Jaeah looked at her ice cream cone on the ground with tears in her eyes. Jungwon turned around hearing her weeping loudly. He chuckled and bent down to her height. "Jaeah you're so clumsy." Jaeah covered her eyes sobbing even louder. "Don't make fun of me!" Jungwon can only laugh at how cute she was. "I'm sorry Jaeah, don't cry." He gave his one with a smile. She stared at him with a glare. "I'll accept your apology this time." His smile grows. Jungwon wiped her tears away. Jungwon had always cared for her. Jungwon had always had a special place in her life.

Yang jungwon was attached to her brother Jake's hip since kindergarten. They've been inseparable since. She was actually thankful for her brother for befriending the boy. Jungwon's appearance in her life had affected her immensely. She could only imagine how their future could be like.

middle school-highschool

Jaeah was in 7th grade. It was English period. The whole class was quiet and it only made her sleepy. She was sure the teacher was asleep too behind the book covering his face. She was so close to dozing off too when Yunjin, her bestfriend nudged her shoulder. "Jae ah." She whispered and signaled her eyes to the window to their right. There she saw none other than her mischievous brother Jake and his angel of a bestfriend who was dragged along into his schemes.

Jaeah's eyes widened. Jake only made a funny face and gave a sly smile. "What are you doing here?" She mouthed. Jake ignored her question and continued to goof around. Jungwon took out his notebook and wrote something down. Jaeah and Yunjin watched them in confusion. Jungwon ripped the paper off and pressed it against the window. "We're here to take you out for dinner."  The message read.

Jaeah's eyes then diverted at Jungwon. He smiled displaying his teeth, his dimples deepened. Jaeah couldn't help but smile back. He  held out a thumbs up asking if it was okay. Jaeah slowly nodded, still staring at his smile. "Hey, take me with you." Yunjin hit her arm teasingly. "No way, you have violin lesson." "Your mom's gonna kill you." Yunjin deflates with a frown on her face. "Shit.."

The bell for the end of the school rang and Jaeah jumped out of her seat. She scurried the items into her bag, running out of the classroom waving to Yunjin. "Have fun Jaeah!" Yunjin's voice fades away as she runs far out of the gate. She stopped right in front  of  Jungwon. "Jaeah, you excited?" He ruffles her hair. Jungwon swings his arm around her shoulder as they walked to Jake.

"I heard you scored a perfect 100 on that exam." He voiced out randomly. "So we're celebrating."  Her eyes gleamed. "Really?" Jake yawned and stretched his arms out. "Celebrating my ass." "What's the point of celebrating it's just a normal exam." Her face dropped. She crossed her eyebrows and frowned at her brother. "How dare you!"

Jungwon clicked his tongue and covered Jaeah's ears. "Don't say that, you'll make her sad." Jungwon scolded his friend. "Jungwon! You're my friend why aren't you on my side." Jake got defensive. "Stop acting immature jake, start walking." Jake mocked his words and turned to Jaeah with a glare. She stuck her tongue out and rolled her eyes. Jungwon was simply much better to her than Jake. Jungwon was everything more.
