JAEAH

"JEJU?" "WE'RE GOING TO JEJU." I jumped in excitement. My parents had announced that we were going to Jeju island today for the weekend. Best part was that Yunjin and Jungwon were coming along as well.

I stood in front of my closet, I pushed the winter clothes aside getting jitters just from thinking about all the cute outfits that I was gonna wear. I packed diligently, I'm a lover of fashion after all. Even hours before my flight, even though my house was in havoc, I sat in my bedroom with my bag packed smiling to myself to go on a vacation with Jungwon. I couldn't wait to hang out with him in Jeju. Walking around with him. Just him and I, it would be a dream come true.

"Jae you're sitting with Jungwon." My pupils shook, my heart was overwhelmed. Sitting next to Jungwon on the flight would be a great time to spend time together. "Oh my bad, Jake would be sitting next to you both as well." My face turned sour. Jake? That filthy man who's supposedly my brother? Oh I think the hell not. "I don't want to sit with him!" I whispered to Yunjin but she can only roll her eyes at me when she points to her and my parents tickets. She was sitting right next to them.

I sheepishly smile, letting her anger pass. My parents love Yunjin, that's why they brought her along. Being next to them for an hour could be awkward. "You'll be fine, my parents won't bother you." I assured Yunjin but I was already sick looking at Jake.

They called for our flight and we walked to board the plane. I shoved Jake aside glaring at him and stood behind Jungwon in line. He scowled at me and I poked my tongue out mischievously. As we were walking to our seats behind a line full of people Jake stepped on my shoe. I winced and stepped back, at that moment he swooped in and sat besides Jungwon who sat in the window seat. That selfish cheater. I couldn't complain to my parents or make a scene. That would be childish of me but that's exactly how Jake acts.

This time I was the one left grumbling in annoyance. I was bummed out by our lack of communication. Why did he seem fine though? Jungwon peered out of the window, he took pictures. He was looking up activities to do and I could almost see what he was searching from behind Jake's big head. What an eyesore. I considered this trip to be a bonding time for Jungwon and I. I've been ignoring him since he arrived and now I'm hopeful of getting something back from him so I was assuming that he would want to spend time with me as well.

"Jae I really missed you."

I kept on getting reminded of his words. That night I went to sleep with a smile stuck on my face. Truthfully, I couldn't sleep at all. I was squealing and kicking my legs in the air. Every time I closed my eyes I saw him smiling at me. I open my eyes, giggling at the thought. Twisting and turning in my bed from heart swell, I was euphoric that day. Not to mention the mug he got me. It was adorable. I wasn't lying when I said I'll cherish it forever. Now there won't be a moment where he escapes my mind.
