"Stop touching me Jake!" Jungwon shrieked as Jake ran his hands over his back. "Why not? You're moving away and I have to annoy you enough to last a few years." Jungwon sigh deeply. "When you say it like that it's kinda depressing."

Jake jumps over the sofa next to him and claws his palm into the popcorn bowl. "Too late, you didn't think about that when you decided to be the top scorer and got a scholarship for a med school overseas." Jungwon chuckles as Jake nudges him teasingly. "So now it's my fault huh?" He throws a piece into his mouth while eyeing Jake who nods in approval.

"Oh Jungwon I have something to talk to you about." Jungwon raised an eyebrow in confusion. He motioned for him to go on. "Yknow, you and Jaeah have been pretty close lately." Jungwon nods uncertainly, confused to where this was going. "I mean you're so nice to her and she likes being around you so I was wondering if you both were yknow?"

Jungwon's eyes widened as he scoffed in realization. "Jake! That's absurd!" "Cmon man I didn't expect you to think this way." He gets up defensively pointing at Jake. "Jake- you're like- you're like a brother to me and that makes her like a sister." "Cmon Jake I've known you both for years why would I have feelings for her?" "That's your sister Jake. It's Jae we're talking about."

Jake nods in agreement. "Alright man, no need to make a big fuss over it." Jungwon sits back down ruffling his hair. "Sorry I was just surprised." He murmured, eyes on the tv when the movie started to play.

Little did he know that Jaeah stood hidden behind them in the hallway. Along the lines of betrayal she couldn't recognize Jungwon. Her hopes shattered as well as her heart. She knew that she wouldn't be able to piece the pieces back together. The slightest idea of Jungwon returning the feelings were long gone. She couldn't trust him anymore. She didn't even realize when tears ran down her cheeks. Watching them from behind, she saw the boy she was in love with enjoy while she withered knowing his true feelings.

Jaeah laid in bed thinking about the incident. It was humiliating that she didn't have the motivation to do anything else. All because of some words that plunged deep into her heart lethally.

"Jae! I'm here at your service!" Yunjin barges in her room singing. With her hands spread open she held a plastic bag in one and her phone in the other. "What's in the bag?" She groggily asks, quirking an eyebrow. Yunjin hid the bag behind her back. "Not telling, not even showing until you greet me back with the same enthusiasm." Jaeah groans and throws her head back and Yunjin impatiently patted her foot against the floor.

She drags her body upwards and opened out her arms, a smile took over her face. "Jin! My savior!" She ran towards her and suffocated her with a hug. Jaeah then snatched the bag and separated leaving Yunjin gasping. "Jae! You betrayed me." She joked as she plopped on her bed. Jaeah nosily dug out the snacks from the bag. She rips the candy packaging open as she sits in her chair sighing deeply. Her teeth pull at the hard candy, playing a game of tug of war. Her mouth wins, the sugary bite running through her tongue.
