The new semester had started and Jake and Jungwon were preparing for their graduation ceremony. They both were prefects and it's wasn't unusual to spot them at school even when they don't need to come anymore.

"Jae!" Jaeah and Yunjin were out near the football field when Jungwon shouted, Jake beside him. "Do they love our school that much? A day hasn't gone by without seeing them." Jaeah slammed the book close and rested her face against her palm. "No clue."

"Hey Yunjin." Jake smiled at Yunjin. Yunjin's knees weak at the moment. Jaeah ignored her friend's behavior and smiled at Jungwon who gave her a strawberry milk. Jake then looked at his sister, "Rat." he spat out. "The hate is so unnecessary Jake." She stabbed the straw into the drink, sipping with hatred in her eyes.

"What are you doing here anyways?" Yunjin mindlessly asked, eyes fluttering at Jake. Jake on the other hand was munching on a bun like an animal, that was what appalled Jaeah the most. Jake spoke muffled with the bread in his mouth. Jaeah slapped his mouth. "Don't talk with your mouth full!" Jungwon chuckled lowly, "We're getting awards so it's for rehearsal." He answered after finishing the food in his mouth, how mindful.

"It's so hard to believe he's graduating-." "I wish I could move away like Jungwon so I don't see Jaeah's ugly face every morning." "Its a health hazard Jae." Jake cuts Jaeah's insult with his and she couldn't sit still with the remark. "You should just move out then asshole." Jungwon steps in between them, sitting next to Jaeah now. "Stop it you two." "I'm moving and all I hear is your nonstop bickering." He scolded the siblings who had their heads drooped in a similar way. Jaeah was hit with the hurtful reality of Jungwon's departure. Knowing that their time together was limited was enough to dissipate her joy.

Her selfish desire was to ask him to not go for her sake. So she could see him walk by her house in the morning. So that he'd get to sit at dinner with her family on nights his parents weren't there. So he and her could talk at the park they used to play in. So she would have someone to lean on, even if he didn't know she felt towards him.

The students went out of the ceremonial hall, some like Jake and Jungwon with awards in thier hands. They all rushed to take pictures with their families. Jaeah and her parents stood with two bouquets in hand for the two. Jake immaediately rushed to them but Jungwon stopped. His eyes raced over the crowds searching for his parents. Jake's father patted him on the back, guiding him to pose for the picture. Unknowingly, the family of four had surrounded him. He smiled at the camera, still shocked but his heart warming.

The Sim family has always treated him as he was one of them. Even when his own parents failed to acknowledge the most important moments of his life, they were always there for him. "Your parents couldn't make it, it's nothing to dwell over when you have us." Mr.Sim laughed and Jungwon laughed along. He was truly greatful for them, especially Jake and Jaeah.

He walked over to Jaeah who held a flower bundle. "Is this for me?" Jaeah held them out nodding. "Thanks Jae." He looked around to clear the coast, to make sure everyone was occupied. "Jae, come on let me take you somewhere." Jaeah looked up with doe eyes, a puzzeled look on her face. "Where?" He grabbed her wrist, smiling playfully. "You'll see."

The two of them raced through the streets, Jaeah still entraced by his sudden actions. Her eyes not leaving the grip he held on. Her heart had started to flutter and palpitate faster unconciously. He slowed down, the hand leaving her when they arrived at the park. "Oh you meant here?" Jaeah chuckled, sitting on her usual swing. "Yeah this old place." "Holds a lot of great memories." He sits down next to her, slowly swinging back and forth.

"I'm going away for a while Jae, so don't miss me too much." He blurts out a midst the silence. A smile crept up to her face. "Okay, I won't." She calms him nerves with the statement. He gazes at the clear sky with clouds scattered over it. The sun shined not as bright as the morning but it still made him twinge his eyes shut. "Yknow, this is gonna be the last time we're gonna be here before I leave." He sighs with realization. Jaeah feels suffocated just thinking of it. "Oh." She wonders why he mentioned it. Does he like me? Is that why he brought me here?

Her eyes secretly admire him. Looking over his facial expression, falling deeper into the bottomless pit of unrequited love. She is taken aback when Jungwon turns to her, their faces inches away. He smiles and gets up. "Do well in school Jaeah, I'll come back." "Let's have fun like this once I return." She is once again shocked by his actions. Why did he do that?

Jaeah stares at the man who swivels unwanted emotions into her. Feelings of admiration and love she wishes to push down, but it's as if there's a spring in her heart that keeps them bouncing back up at times like these.

"We should head back, they might be wondering where we went."
"Oh yeah." Jaeah agreed, getting up and fisting a palm onto her dress to hold it from dragging to the ground.

The two walk side by side. One's heart is clueless, one's heart gleams with hope.
