"Jake!" "Jake!" I ran into my house with Jungwon trailing behind me slow as a snail for some reason. I was concerned when he came saying that Jake asked for me. When he was nowhere in sight, my senses heightened. I was starting to think that something serious had actually occurred but Jungwon just lightened the situation in front of Sunghoon.

A sigh of relief escaped me when I saw Jake coming down the stairs and I rushed to his side. "Jake what happened?" He only eyed me weirdly. "What?" I held his jacket sleeve, tearing for an answer. "You didn't call me?" Jake shook my grip off and walked away. "Why would I look for you loser?" I grumbled, anger crossed my face. It was just another lie, another prank. "You're so annoying!" I starts to stomp up the stairs and saw Jungwon walk in with a bag.

"Jungwon you took so long! I thought you didn't make it out of there for a second." He chuckled while digging into the bag. In that moment, Jungwon looked upstairs. We met eyes for a brief second, was it my vision that tricked me or did the corners of Jungwon's mouth turn upright in a sly manner. A smile that conveyed a message. That implied something. I rubbed my eyes and looked below the staircase again, Jungwon's wasn't even looking at me. He was seated on the couch with a can of beer in his hand.

I stared at his figure. Why did he come marching over and tell me that Jake was finding me? Strange. He was acting strangely. I ran my tongue over my lips as I held onto the railing. Did he make it up? A mischievous grin accompanied my face. Yang Jungwon? What was that trick you pulled?

Lying on my bed, the first thing I did was call Yunjin after my phone opened. She would surely have answer. Only problem was that it was way past midnight now and Yunjin would be dead asleep. The volunteer work was beating her up these days. So after multiple spam messages and missed calls, my eyes brightened when my phone started to buzz and my screen lit up with her contact name. "JIN!" I squealed in excitement. Yunjin's figure on the video chat winced hearing my voice. "Hey Jae, you better have a good reason for spamming me." She yawns out, fixating her glasses on the bridge of her nose. "Sorry for waking you." "But something big has happened."

After I explained everything to a half awake Yunjin I was sure of it. I was becoming to feel hopeful once again. Jungwon has been acting differently. He's been trying to get my attention,m through my ignorance and I announce with defeat that I lost my strength and lost. Tonight was different than the previous days. Jungwon found me with Sunghoon and he made up some lie to separate us. Call me delusional but I'm just stating what could be the only reason. I could pinpoint one reason. Jealously.

"Omg Jae, he definitely got jealous." Yunjin now wide awake was at the stage where she would talk some sense into me. "Girl why else would he tell you to come home when Jake wasn't even calling you?" It totally added up. "Trust me Jae, I think Jungwon is onto something." "You should be on the lookout, maybe this time around your lifelong dream may come true." I threw my head back embarrassed. I sure hope too. This time I was certain. The butterflies, the jitters. The feeling and the memories of were back. I couldn't ignore him any longer. I adore him too much to hurt him like this.
