Brer Rabbit and Brer Bear were in the mountain's loading area where the log rides began.

"If we gon' sneak out unnoticed, we needs ter be stealthy" said Brer Bear.

He started rolling on the ground.

"Brer Bear, sneakin's less effective wen ya leave a trail o' toilet paypa" said Brer Rabbit.

"Fair point" said Brer Bear.

Just then, Uncle Remus himself passed by and noticed the two critters.

"Brer Bear, whatcha doin'?" he said.

"Uh, he got TPed by Brer Raccoon 'gain" Brer Rabbit lied.

"I can't b'leev he did dat" said Uncle Remus.

As Brer Rabbit and Brer Bear left the mountain, Chad and Jeremy came by, not seeing them go.

"Chad the lad, stop torturing yourself about dropping Brer Fox. Everyone makes mistakes" said Jeremy.

"I know. But I should have been more vigilant" said Chad.

"We do need to focus on the Brers" said Jeremy.

Chad looked around. "Speaking of which... where are Brer Rabbit and Brer Bear?"

On Chick-a-Pin Hill, Brer Fox strutted up to Patty flirtatiously.

"Howdy, Sis Patty. Enjoyin' yaw cushion?" he said.

"Yeah, I sure am" said Patty.

"Good. It's stuffed wid microfibas. And appropriate affec-shin" said Brer Fox.

Patty took a breath. "About that, Brer Fox. I gotta tell ya something. Uh... Jeremy and I are back together."

"Dat so. I don't 'memba seen ya on de log flume wid Brer Jeremy lately" said Brer Fox.

"Uh... " Patty stuttered. "I haven't been on the log flume in a while. A long while."

"Really. I seen photos of ya in de log flumes faw de las' three days. Alone" said Brer Fox.

Patty sighed in frustration. "Okay, bluff called. Thanks a lot, Splashdown Photos."

"I knew it! Why'd ya lie ter me?" said Brer Fox.

"I'm sorry. I was just looking for a gentle way to put an end to your little crush" said Patty.

"Well, thanks fer rippin' ma hea't out gently" said Brer Fox.

"I hope you can forgive my little white lie" said Patty.

"Sho f'ya can f'giv ma lil white lie" said Brer Fox.

"Which is?"

"I ain't bin ter Splashdown Photos in munts. De Brer Bear dolls look stupida den Brer Bear!"

Brer Fox stomped back to his lair, leaving Patty flustered.

"Well played, Brer Fox. Well played" she said.
