The falling felt like an eternity. Y/N sat in the dark cockpit, his blue visor light lighting it up slightly. Then, suddenly, the systems came back online again, and the visual display also reactivated. Y/N saw that he and Athena were still in titanfall. They were descending towards the surface, which was a gigantic forrest with a large floating rocks all around.
"//P-PILOT...BRACE F-FOR IMPACT-T...\\"
After Athena said that, her chassis shot down towards the ground. The lower they got, the more trees shot by, and eventually, the big titan and her pilot hit the ground, creating a crater in the middle. Y/N looked at the projection in the cockpit, seeing a bushes and trees all around. It looked like a beautiful jungle.
"Athena, Status."
"//TITANFALL: SUCCESSFUL

SYSTEMS: ALL OPERATIONAL
WEAPONRY: ARMED AND READY
WARNING: LOST ALL COMMUNICATIONS WITH THE MILITIA'S 6TH EXPEDITIONARY FLEET\\"
"Well...shit. Are we still on Genamis?"
"//UNCLEAR\\"
"Wow, it's getting even better." Y/N sighed
"//I DETECT SARCASM, PILOT\\"
"Athena, let me disembark I need to have a look around." Y/N said,reaching to the weapons reck.
"//CAREFUL PILOT. MY SCANS INDICATE THAT THE ATMOSPHERE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR HUMANS. IT CONSISTS OF NITROGEN, OXYGEN, CARBON DIOXIDE, XENON, METHANE, AND HYDROGEN SULFIDE. KEEP YOUR HELMET ON AT ALL TIMES, PILOT, OR YOU WILL LOOSE CONSCIOUSNESS AFTER 20 SECONDS, AND DIE AFTER 4 MINUTES. OPENING CHASSIS NOW\\"
As Athena's chassis opens, Y/N jumps out, G2 in hand. As he looks around, he can see the gigantic, beautiful fauna around him. He can hear animals call in the distance.
"//PILOT, I DETECT TWO AIRCRAFT 5 KLICKS SOUTH OF OUR POSITION. I HAVE NO RECORDS OF THE TYPE OF THE AIRCRAFTS\\"
"Okay, let's move." Y/N nodded.
The pilot and his titan began to move towards the position of the aircrafts. While walking, Y/N saw exotic birds, flies, and other animals fly and move around. The plants were also looking exotic and beautiful, but Y/N had the constant feeling of being watched...by everything.
"//PILOT, THE JUNGLE IS GETTING MORE DENSE, TREAD CAREFULLY\\"
"I will, girl, don't worry."
The duo continued to walk towards the location. After a few hundred meters, Y/N stumbles onto a destroyed vehicle. As he looks closer, he recognizes it as some sort of mech.
"Athena, take a look at this..." Y/N says, as he walks up to the mech, which was overgrown with plants.
"//MY SCANS INDICATE THAT THIS MECH HAS BEEN INACTIVE FOR 15 YEARS. IT'S DESIGNATION IS CALLED "AMP SUIT"\\"
"Looks like a cheap knock-off reaper..."
"//AGREED\\"
Y/N and Athena continue walking, the pilot walking a solid distance in front of his titan. Out of nowhere, a sixth legged black panther, a Thanator, jumps on top of Y/N and lets its claw shoot down towards the pilot's chest. Luckily, the thick armor plate of the pilot suit deflects the attack, but leaves deep claw marks on the reinforced metal. The Thanator raises its other clawed paw.
"FUCK! ATHENA, HELP!"
Just as Y/N yells his titan's name, the 20 feet tall death machine picks up the creature, holds it up, and rips it in half.
"//PILOT, ARE YOU ALRIGHT\\"Athena asks, as she drops the two pieces of flesh.
"Yeah...thank you girl...that thing looks like the uglier cousin of a prowler from typhoon." Y/N grunts as he gets up.
"//OR WHATS LEFT OF TYPHOON\\" The titans says, and Y/N nods in agreement.
"//PILOT, IT IS SAFER TO EMBARK. WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT ELSD IS OUT THERE\\"
"Good point." Y/N says, reembarking into his titan's chassis.
"//I AM DETECTING A SMALL ENGERY SOURCE. IT IS MINIMAL, BUT I CAN TRACK THE LOCATION. ALSO, MY SCANS INDICATE THAT A ECLIPSE WILL HAPPEN IN THE NEXT MINUTES\\"
"Phew...wouldn't want to miss that. And that energy signal. Can you track its origin?"
"//WORKING ON IT. THERE ARE TWO. THE FIRST ONE IS WHAT APPEARS TO BE A DATA PAD. SECOND ONE IS A COMMUNICATION DEVICE. ACCESSING CHANNEL NOW\\"
Y/N holds his breath as the channel opens. The people on the line speak in a language that he doesn't understand. Confusion spreads on his face. Even though he doesn't understand any of these words, he can hear the tension in the older males voice as he talks to the younger one. After a few more moments, the connection cuts.
"Athena , move towards the past position of the signal. Now!"
"//ON IT, Y/N\\" Athena says as she begins to move fast through the jungle, towards the signal.
