Part 4: A common enemy

Y/N just stared back through this visor, seeing how the gun barrels spun faster every second. Just as the gunship was about to fire, Athena broke through the bushes and began to catch the 50. caliber bullets with her vortex shield. Y/N could hear the familiar sounds of the bullets getting catched by the shield, and rearranged into a deadly cocktail of lead, ready to be shot back towards the original shooter.
Y/N used the moment to shoot his grappling hook on the back of his titan, and activate his jump pack to jump over the 20 feet tall chassis.

In that exact moment, Athena released the caught led, and shot it back towards the scorpion. The bullets shredded the rotors of the aircraft, and also the cockpit compartment, since the windshields were a mix of shattered glass and sprayed blood. Just as the Scorpion hit the ground, Y/N landed on the obliterated wreckage. I raised his G2 and looked inside the remains of the cockpit, making sure the pilot was indeed dead.

Just as Y/N turned to look for the big aircraft, the C-21 dragon, he saw it fly away, along with the recoms and the human boy.

"//PILOT, I DETECT 6 OTHER NON-HUMAN LIFEFORMS IN THE AREA\\" Athena said, turing towards the bushes.

"On me!" Y/N said, walking towards the bushes.

As the pilot broke through the fauna, he came face-to-face six Na'vi. The three Na'vi kids who got captured, an Na'vi boy who looked a bit older than the other boy, a tall female Na'vi with a bow in her hand, and the other tall Na'vi male that exchanged the quick nod with Y/N. The tall female Na'vi instantly raised her bow and aimed at Y/N's chest and the pilot visibly tensed, but relaxed as he heard the familiar sound of his titan's acolyte rocket pod activating behind him.

As the the Na'vi warrior stepped in front of his apparent wife to persuade her to lower the bow, Y/N raised his hand, signaling Athena to lower the acolyte pod. As the two blue humanoids argued in a language the human pilot didn't understand, he used the moment to take in the appearance of the Na'vi. The tall ones were almost double the size of him, but only half as tall as Athena. They looked like a mix of human, monkey, and cat. Some of the six had five fingers, while others had only four. Y/N could feel the eyes of the two boys on him.

After a moment, the tall Na'vi male turned to Y/N and stepped forward. He spoke up with an exceptionally well English.

"I am Jake Sully of the Omatikaya clan. May I ask who you are?"

"Lieutenant Y/N Colser of the frontier militia. And that tin can behind me is AT-1612." The pilot answered as he put his G2 on his back.

The Na'vi, now known as Jake Sully, looked confused as Y/N said he is part of the "frontier militia".

"Are you a soldier of the RDA?" Jake asks, frowning.

"What's the RDA? Ohh, the guys who tried to kill us? Silly me. No, I'm not with them."

"Wait...you're not from here, are you?"

"If this planet is anything other than Genamis, then no, I'm not from here." Y/N answers simply.

"What is Genamis?" Jake asks, his confusion growing by the second.

"//GENAMIS IS THE 3RD PLANET IN THE ODID SYSTEM, AND SUSPECTED BASE OF-\\"

"Shut up, Athena." Y/N interrupts his titan, Turing back to Jake.

"Listen Mr. Sully, I know this sounds strange, but I don't know how I got here. I was send on a mission, dropping onto the planet Genamis, then everything went black and me and my titan landed here...or where ever here is."

"You're on pandora." Jake answered Y/N question.

Y/N heavily sighted, realizing the gravity of his situation.

"Since the RDA attacked you two, I guess it makes them our common enemy. I could offer you to come to our base, maybe listen to us and then decide if you want to join us."

At that, the female Na'vi spoke up in their Na'vi language. Y/N couldn't understand any of it, but it was clear to him that she was against the idea. After a bit of arguing, the woman backed down and Jake turned back to the pilot.

"Excuse my wife, she has a resentment towards humans. Our base is about 30 Klicks west from here, in the so called hallelujah mountains. You are welcome to come and consider to join us. We have to go now." Jake said, calling his Ikrans, the big birds. The family mounted out on their Ikrans and then flew away, leaving Y/N and Angel behind.

Y/N turned to his titan. "What do you think, girl?"

"//CONSIDERING OUR BACKS ARE UP AGAIN THE WALL, WE SHOULD TAKE THAT OFFER INTO CONSIDERATION. WE ARE AN EFFECTIVE TEAM AND OUR EFFICIENCY EXCEEDS 95 PERCENT, BUT WE ARE ON A FOREIGN PLANET WITH RESOURCES LIMITED TO US AND AN APPARENTLY LARGER ENEMY FORCE\\"

"For a tin can, you make some pretty strong arguments. Let's go then." Y/N says as he jumps into Athena's chassis.

They begin to make their way towards the so-called hallelujah mountains. During the travel, the eclipse ends and the sun begins to reappear. As they get within 10 kilometers (author's note: that's 6,21 miles) of the apparent base, they reach a cliff with gigantic tendrils, connecting floating rocks.

"Fuck me...that some magic trick I haven't seen yet." Y/N mumbles to himself at the sight in front of him.

"//PILOT, SCANS INDICATE THAT THESE TENDRILS ARS STRONG ENOUGH TO CARRY MY 40 TON CHASSIS, ALONG WITH YOUR ADDITIONAL WEIGHT\\"

"Calling me fat?"

"//I APOLOGIZE, Y/N, BUT MY PROGRAMMING DOES NOT ALLOW ME TO LIE\\"

"Cold bitch..." Y/N curses, semi-offended. Athena proceeds to climb onto the tendrils, and so the duo, slowly but surely, makes their way towards the base.

(Authors note: Just to clarify for y'all. I changed Y/N's titan's name from "Angel" to "Athena", since I personally didn't really like "Angel" all that much. The name idea for Athena came from @AgentOChaos and his book "RWBW: Upholding the mission. Love the name for a titan, but since I didn't want to copy/steal his original idea, I thought I'd tag him here. I changed all "Angel" words to "Athena", and from now on, Y/N's titan will be called "Athena". Just for you all to know)
