Mr. Lee walked into his mansion, his mind still reeling from the meeting with his family. He couldn't believe their audacity, trying to manipulate him into bailing them out again. As he entered his study, his Personal Maid (PM) Penelope, looked up from her desk.
"Master, you have a visitor." With a slight bow.
He raised an eyebrow. "Who is it?"
Penelope smiled. "Ms. Samantha Smith the CEO of Smith Industries."
Mr. Lee's interest piqued, he nodded. "Send her in."
°Why the sudden visit? °
Samantha Smith walked in, her confidence and poise commanding attention.
"Mr. Lee, it's an honor to finally meet you."
Mr. Lee kept a plain look.
"What brings you here today?"
Samantha got straight to the point.
"I want to propose a business partnership between our companies. I believe we could achieve great things together."
"Goodness me, again" He mutters under his breath.
Mr. Lee leaned back in his chair, steepling his fingers. "I'm listening."
And with that, the meeting began, with Mr. Lee and Samantha discussing the possibilities of a partnership that could change the business world forever.
Meanwhile Sophia got bored after all scattered introduction or should i say the showing around thingy.
Luckily she got Crystal who did all detailedly and introduced her rather nicely.
"What a day" Sophia says as she bounced on Mr. Lee's bed. She hears grumbling from her tummy.
"Ahhhhh! I'm hungry"
"i didn't even take lunch cos according to Penelope. Food is taken in order and i'm not near the list......."
" Yeah! yeah! yeah! She told me all about the do's and don't in the house and i guess she's pretty good at that part" Sophia says stepping down the bed trying to make her tummy stop grumbling.
°No be small hunger be this oh! Nawa oh! °
She goes to the veranda and admires the beauty.
"He really made the right choice" She says with a smile.
°I just hope he won't be so cruel cos i'm done with cruity°

Mr. Lee's gaze remained fixed on Samantha as he spoke to penelope, "You can't just stand...... Go do something meaningful"
Penelope just nodded and quickly exited the room, closing the door behind her to prevent any other embarrassment.
Samantha raised an eyebrow, "Do something meaningful?"
Mr. Lee's expression didn't change, "Something like that. Let's focus on our partnership. What's the next step?"
Samantha nodded, unfazed by his brusqueness. "I'll send over the contracts tomorrow. In the meantime, I suggest we discuss the marketing strategy."
Mr. Lee leaned back in his chair, steepling his fingers and spoke coldly.
"I'll have my team review the contracts. As for marketing, I already some ideas. It's yours to start first"
The meeting continued, with Mr. Lee's focus solely on the partnership and its potential for growth. His family's drama wouldn't derail him from his goals but at the second thought, there is a part of him that isn't present.
Samantha presented her marketing strategy, and Mr. Lee listened intently, his expression unreadable and icy. When she finished, he nodded curtly and spoke emotionlessly.
"It's more like it. But we actually need to take it further. I want to see projections for the next quarter, and I want them tomorrow."
Samantha nodded, unfazed by his demanding tone. "I'll have them ready by tomorrow morning."
Mr. Lee stood, signaling the end of the meeting. "Good. I'll have my team review them. If everything checks out, we'll move forward with the partnership."
Samantha stood, her smile professional. "I'm looking forward to it, Mr. Lee. This partnership has the potential to be huge."
Mr. Lee nodded, his expression still cold. "I don't do 'potential', Samantha. I do results. Let's get to work."
And with that, the meeting was over. Samantha left, leaving Mr. Lee to his thoughts.
