*****The next morning**********

      Although Mr. Lee didn't sleep quite well last night, he didn't let it distract his day's work.

Mr. Lee sat in his study, sipping his scotch as he waited for Penelope to bring him the financial records.

He could hear her bustling around the room, trying to get his attention.

"Master, I've brought the records," Penelope said, her voice dripping with sweetness.

Mr. Lee didn't spare her a glance, "Leave them on the desk."

Penelope huffed, "Fine. But I hope you know I'm doing this all for you."

Mr. Lee raised an eyebrow, still not looking up, "I'm paying you to do your job. Not to fawn all over me."

Penelope's face fell, but she quickly recovered, "Yes, Master. Of course, Master."

As she left the room, Mr. Lee could hear her muttering under her breath, "One day, he'll come crawling to me..."

Mr. Lee rolled his eyes, focusing on the financial records. He was impressed by Smith Industries' stability, but he knew better than to trust anyone.

Just then, Penelope burst back into the room, "Master, I've brought you some breakfast"

Mr. Lee looked up, his expression cold, "I didn't ask ."

Penelope pouted, "But I thought you might be hungry, master. ..."

Mr. Lee sighed, "focus on your job. I don't pay you to mother me."

Penelope's face fell, but she quickly recovered, "Yes, master. Of course, sir."

As she left the room again, Mr. Lee could hear her whispering to the other maids,

"Don't think you're better than me, I'm obviously personal maid now... I can get you fired with just one word..."

Mr. Lee just shook his head, tuning out Penelope's drama.

He had more important things to focus on.

That morning, Sophia woke up early, feeling a little bit mix of excitement and nerves, she doesn't even have full knowledge of being someone's P. S or something close to it.

She got dressed in the office attire Kai had arranged for her and it kinda additionally brought out most of her figures that is to say....... It was the perfect match for her.

Crystal helped her get ready, saying, "You're the luckiest to be working with Master. He's a great boss."

Crystal helped her with a hair do packing it messily corporate and her make over.Crystal wishes her good luck on her first day at work as she made her way to the kitchen.

Mr. Lee was already there surprisingly, sipping a cup of coffee. He looked up, his eyes scanning her from head to toe.

"You look...presentable in a way," he said, his voice neutral.

Sophia rolled her eyes playfully and mutters. "Thanks,i think."

Mr. Lee could only smirk,

"You're using the cab" Mr. Lee says coldly exiting the kitchen.

"The cab? Won't you at least wait for me, you know don't know my way around here" Sophia says making Mr. Lee let out a sigh of resignation.

"What do you take me for? " Mr. Lee asks coldly not sparing her a glance.

"I mean i don't even know the direction to your workplace" Sophia says.

"Then find it" Mr. Lee say coldly and with that he left.

"Pervert!" Sophia cursed under her breath.

Crystal's voice interrupted her thoughts. "You've got to eat something, Sophia. You can't start your day on an empty stomach.

As soon as Sophia was done with her breakfast, Crystal helped her out in getting a cab in his estate directing him to Lee industries.

Sophia wanted to pay the cab driver off but he said she has already been paid for leaving her confused as he zoomed off.

"Quite late" She hears Mr. Lee's voice behind her.

Sophia turned, apologetic. "Sorry, I-"

"I don't need your explanation," Mr. Lee interrupted coldly. "Just don't repeat it."

"Ok Mr. Lee" She says with a smile making Mr. Lee stare at her like who told you.

"Don't give me that look" Sophia says making Mr. Lee smirk.

"Just know you've alot of work ahead of you" Mr. Lee says with a smirk.

"I never studied to be a P. S" Sophia mutters as a smile formed at the corner of his lips.

As they headed to the office, Sophia couldn't help but notice the way Mr. Lee's eyes lingered on her. She felt a flutter in her chest, but quickly pushed it aside maybe it's one of his tricks.

At the office, Sophia was introduced to the team as Mr. Lee's new personal secretary. She was relieved to find that they were all friendly and welcoming maybe.

"I'm sure your first day would be great" Kai whispers in her ear making her tturn his direction.

"What're you doing here? " Sophia ask Kai in surprise.

"I work here ofcourse" Kai replies.

"Is that so? " Sophia asks.

"Yeah i'm his P. A and chauffeur at same time isn't that amazing? " Kai asks with a smile.

"Here is your desk.... Close to mine, if you have any issues feel free to share it with me and by the way i'm Kai" Kai says with a smile as Sophia sat gently on her chair.

"I know already. Weren't you the Kai guy that got me those dresses? "Sophia asked with a raised eyebrow.

" They're your correct size right? "He asks with a smile.

" Surprisingly" She says with a smile.

"I really wonder how Mr. Lee could get your right size without even asking"Kai says in amazement.

°Mr. Lee isn't bad after all......at least he didn't take advantage of me or something but how did he get my correct size? °

Sophia thoughts confusedly as some workers whisper to themselves while staring at her making her let out a sigh of resignation.

"Is this how they do around here? " Sophia asks in a whisper to Kai who was across her desk.

"Don't mind them," Kai said with a smile, noticing Sophia's confusion. "They're just curious."

"Yeah why won't they when i'm just a black"Sophia mutters

Sophia's telephone rings, and Kai muttered playfully, "Guess he's calling you."

Sophia answered, her voice steady. "Yes, Mr. Lee?"

"To my office"A commanding tone was heard.
