The News Spreads!

It has been two days since Admiral Kizaru fell. The crew has spent that time preparing to head for Fishman Island. Jimbe has coated the ship. Right now, Uta and Luffy were alone at the park, sitting on a bench and eating ice cream.

"So, Luffy! How much do you think my bounty is going to be?" Uta asked, taking a bite of a chocolate scoop.

"Five hundred million!" Luffy replied, excited to receive Uta's first poster.

"I was thinking 300 million! I guess we'll see!"

"Then let's make it a deal! If I am right, you make me all the food I ask for!" Luffy challenged, spreading his arms out.

But he put them out a bit too fast. His pink ice cream falls off the cone and splats on the sidewalk. Uta hysterically laughed.

"MY ICE CREAM!" Luffy cried, staring at the spot on the ground.

"Bozo!"

Uta recreates Luffy's ice cream and holds it in her hand. Luffy stares, drooling. He reaches out for the cone but is denied.

"Wait a second! I'm putting a napkin around it." Uta scolded him.

A small brown napkin wrapped itself around the base of the cone. Uta held it out in front of Luffy. He goes in for it, but she pulls it away. She eats it.

"WHAT!? YOU JERK!" Luffy roared.

"Mleh!" Uta stuck her tongue out at Luffy, pulling her right eyelid down.

Luffy turns away and pouts angrily. Not only had she laughed at him, but she also ate the ice cream that should have been his.

"Why are you so mean to me?" Luffy asked, upset.

"You're still a little kid that I have to babysit." Uta joked.

"I AM BIGGER AND STRONGER THAN YOU!" Luffy protested, socking Uta in the shoulder.

She winced in pain. Uta gave him an annoyed glare, but a hurt one.

"Why did you hit me? That hurt!" She fake cries, worrying Luffy.

"Aaggghhh! I'm sorry, Uta. Do you forgive me?" Luffy asked.

"Only under one condition!" She answered, sounding suspicious.

"Oh? And what's th-"

*Kisses Luffy on the lips*

"ABDHAGEHGA! STOP DOING THAT!" Luffy roared, pushing Uta away gently.

Uta smiled from ear to ear. Luffy turned a bright red and turned away.

"If I win, you have to tell that Hancock bitch that I am your one and only lover!"

*Snap*

A strawberry ice cream atop his cone appeared, satisfying Luffy. He yanks it away from Uta this time, eating it.

"Aw, you're such a little doof! Anyway, that was my condition!" Uta giggled, poking Luffy in the face repeatedly.

*Mumbles something.*

"Love you, too!" Uta chuckled.

"Deal. I'm finding Zoro!" Luffy announced, eating his ice cream whole and standing up.

He walks over to a garbage can nearby and tosses the napkin. He spins around and looks at Uta. Luffy takes his middle and index finger and points them at Uta. He goes back and forth between her and his eyes. She rolls her eyes in response as Luffy walks backward, away from her.
