3x5- The Reckoning

I keep moving myself around the back of the truck with my speed as Klaus attempts to tie my hands together with rope. "Will you stay still?"

"Get away from me!"

Suddenly, I'm thrown against the wall of the inside truck and Klaus hovers above me, his hands firmly gripping my wrists. He's compelling me. "Let me do this."

My hands stop fighting back as he ties the rope tight around my hands. This is all because he found out that Stefan and I knew the reason his hybrids weren't working. Klaus doesn't take betrayal or disloyalty very well.

It's just another thing I've done to wrong him.

"When will I ever be able to trust you again? When will you ever be loyal to me?" Klaus asks angrily.

I look at him, my lips trembling and my hands tied tightly together. He has to know that my loyalty to him dissapeared a long time ago. "Never. I've told you that I don't love you anymore and you can't seem to believe me."

I spit the next words out harshly. "Let me go."

Klaus comes back even harsher. "No," he says, carefully pronouncing the word.

"Forget me," I plead.

His hands latch on to the rope around my hands as he pulls me up to his chest. I look down and then up in surprise. We're so close.

"I will never leave you again. I'll do anything I have to in order to keep you by my side."

"You never left me, I left you."

"Please hush about leaving me unless you want me to make you be quiet. You aren't going anywhere, do you understand me?"

I look at his lips and then refocus on the rest of his face. Klaus is not what I want and I know that. I've forgotten our history. He's just a handsome stranger.

Klaus looks into my eyes to compel me. "Now, do me a favor and get some sleep."

"Alright, love. Your job is to bring Tyler to the gym while I get Elena."

I cross my arms, my hands finally being untied. He can't expect me to want to do all of the cruel things he does. "I'm not doing that. I'm not helping you hurt Tyler!"

Klaus moves closer. "Oh? Do we have a little crush on another Lockwood?"

He scoffs, moving even closer as his finger pushes my hair back. "I have a plan for Tyler, but it would be a shame if I had to kill another Lockwood," he whispers.
