Jungkook was beyond ecstatic when he received his final results. Not only had he passed with flying colors, but he had also secured the top spot-not just in his class, but in the entire school. His hard work had paid off, and he was the golden boy of the hour, excelling in everything from academics to athletics and extracurricular activities. It was no surprise that his parents decided to throw him a grand celebration, inviting family, friends, and well-wishers to honor his accomplishments.

The day of the party arrived, and Jungkook was surrounded by people who were thrilled to celebrate his success. Taehyung, of course, was there too, bringing along a few of his new university friends who had heard countless stories about Jungkook-Taehyung's beloved "Koo."

As the party buzzed with excitement, Taehyung introduced his friends to Jungkook. They all seemed eager to finally meet the person Taehyung had spoken so highly of. One of Taehyung's friends, a cheerful guy with an easy smile, nudged him and joked, "We finally get to meet the famous Jungkook! Taehyung never shuts up about you."

Jungkook, ever humble, smiled softly, his cheeks tinged with a slight blush. "Well, Tae exaggerates a lot," he chuckled, glancing at Taehyung, who rolled his eyes playfully.

Meanwhile, Jimin had also made an appearance, congratulating Jungkook warmly. Though there was some history between them, Jimin and Jungkook had no ill feelings toward each other. They exchanged a friendly embrace, and Jimin's congratulations were genuine. It was a good moment between them.

As the evening went on, Jungkook found himself laughing and chatting with Yoongi, his boxing coach, who had been a guiding figure for him. Yoongi, although only five years older than Jungkook, had become something of a mentor, and the two had a comfortable, easy friendship. Tonight, though, Yoongi was more animated than usual, his eyes sparkling with a mischievous glint as he spoke to Jungkook.

"You know, I've been meaning to tell you," Yoongi began, his voice low as he leaned in, "there's this cute photographer boy I've been seeing at the gym lately. I haven't had the chance to talk to him yet, but he's got this energy, you know? I've seen him from afar a few times, and I'm dying to talk to him."

Jungkook raised an eyebrow, curious. "Oh? Do I know him?"

Before Yoongi could respond, he nodded toward a group near the entrance. "Actually, there he is now. That's him."

Jungkook followed Yoongi's gaze, and his eyes widened in surprise. Standing there, looking every bit the cute boy Yoongi had been talking about, was none other than Park Jimin-Taehyung's ex-boyfriend. Jungkook's mind raced for a moment, connecting the dots. Yoongi had unknowingly developed a crush on Jimin, the same person Taehyung had cried over not too long ago.

The situation felt ironic, yet Jungkook couldn't help but chuckle. "Small world, huh? That's Jimin. He used to date Taehyung," Jungkook said, trying to keep his tone light.

Yoongi blinked in surprise but quickly recovered, a small smirk forming on his lips. "Of course. Why wouldn't it be him? Just my luck."

As Jungkook laughed at the absurdity of it all, Yoongi leaned in closer. "He's really cute though, right? Do you think I have a chance?"

Jungkook was about to respond when Taehyung, standing across the room, caught sight of them. From where Taehyung stood, he couldn't hear the conversation, but the sight of Jungkook laughing, his eyes crinkled in pure joy as he spoke animatedly with Yoongi, sent an unpleasant churn through his stomach.

Taehyung knew he had no reason to feel this way-it was Jungkook's night, and he was allowed to have fun-but he couldn't shake the irritation bubbling inside him. He hated sharing Jungkook's attention, especially with someone else who could make him laugh like that. Taehyung clenched his fists, his fingers digging into his palms as he tried to keep his jealousy in check. He couldn't ruin Jungkook's big day by acting possessive, but that didn't stop the resentment from building within him.
