Wooyoung began his morning by preparing for school. He stood in front of his closet, eyes barely open, trying to pick an outfit for the day.

His school uniform hung neatly in the middle, and he sighed before pulling it off the hanger. His mind was still foggy from sleep, but he moved through his routine like clockwork.

He brushed his teeth, washed his face, and styled his hair quickly, his movements practiced and efficient. With a final glance at the mirror, he grabbed his backpack and made his way downstairs.

The house felt unusually quiet that morning. San had left early, and Wooyoung hadn’t even heard him go. Sitting alone at the long dining table, Wooyoung picked at the food in front of him.

Eggs, bacon, and toast, all expertly prepared by the chef, but it felt like just another part of the routine. As he stuffed a piece of egg into his mouth, the sound of footsteps caught his attention.

"Good morning," Yeonjun greeted him as he entered the room, taking a seat across from Wooyoung.

"Morning," Wooyoung replied through a mouthful of food, cheeks puffed out as he tried to chew and talk at the same time.

Yeonjun raised an eyebrow, a slight smirk tugging at his lips. "Chew first," he chuckled softly, the closest thing to warmth Wooyoung had ever seen from him.

It was strange, Yeonjun was usually cold and aloof, but today, there was something almost relaxed about him.

"Did you just smile?" Wooyoung teased, his voice light as he pointed at Yeonjun’s face.

The elder’s expression immediately darkened, and he picked up his butter knife. "Shut up," he muttered, his tone dropping back to its usual seriousness.

"Okay, okay," Wooyoung said quickly, raising his hands in mock surrender, though he couldn’t stop the grin spreading across his face.

Breakfast passed in silence after that. Wooyoung finished his food, grabbed his bag, and headed for the door, where Yeonjun was already waiting with the car.
.
The ride to school was quiet, as usual, with Yeonjun focusing on the road and Wooyoung staring out the window. His mind wandered, already dreading the day ahead.

At school, Wooyoung met up with Jisung and Felix,  after their last class before lunch.

"Guys, I hate dance practice," Jisung whined dramatically, dropping onto the locker room couch like a sack of potatoes.

Felix snorted, shaking his head. "Jeez, Sung, you're too soft. It's just a few hours."

"It feels like my body is going to fall apart," Jisung complained, his voice muffled as he pressed his face into a cushion.

Wooyoung’s stomach growled loudly, cutting through the conversation and making both Jisung and Felix look at him.

"I could eat a whole pig right now," he grumbled, rubbing his stomach.

Felix grinned. "Let’s hit the café. I’m starving too."

Jisung perked up at the idea. "Yes! Café time!" He leaped off the couch, instantly forgetting his previous soreness, only to groan again when his legs gave out from under him.

He collapsed back onto the couch with a pained expression, causing Wooyoung and Felix to burst into laughter.

Despite Jisung’s dramatics, the three of them made their way to the nearby café. It was a small place just a block away from the school, but it had the best pastries in the area.
