(Hailey’s P.O.V.)
But as we turned around, a horror came to our eyes, right there before us was a body motionless. I start to get worried as I run up to them and kneel to check if they have a pulse, I relax as I find one, but their heart rate is incredibly low, and I notice they have a few deep cuts.

“We should make a fire, and we need to fix up their cuts,” I say to Sam.

“I will make the fire. You attend his wounds,” Sam says.

I nod to him and feel Rain leave my shoulder. Sam walks around the place to look for things to make a fire. I open my bag to see if I have anything that will help the cuts. Luckily, I found a first aid kit. I take it out and open it up. There are a few ban aids that I use for the smaller cuts. I see some stitches and bandages which I use on the two big cuts which are on their left leg and right waist. Once I am done, I put away the kit and stand to get a better look at my work. As I look, I see that my patient is a male with short, messy red hair, light skin, and some freckles. But I couldn’t see what colour his eyes were because they were closed. He has a few scars over his body. He is wearing clothes with rips through them. A black shirt with three people on it holding hands and words above saying, “home is where your friends are”. He is also wearing grey shorts and black sneakers. I sit down and can see that Sam is making a fire, and Rain is walking around, but he starts to come up to me and purr to me. I smile and start to pat him as he sits next to me.

(Sam’s P.O.V.)
Hailey starts to look for something in her bag. I go looking for some wood, I see some wood and feathers, I guess there was a bed there. I pick up the wood, but I notice that there is a piece of wood that still has a bit of fire on it. So, I throw the piece wood with fire on it in with the rest of the wood, which lights it.

“There this should keep us warm while we are waiting for Lucas to wake up,” I say, standing up and smiling to myself.

“Yea,” I hear Hailey say.

I sit myself down next to Hailey, I smile at her. But I notice that she is frowning, I start frowning a bit, wondering what’s wrong.

“Hey, he will wake up, I promise,” I assure her.

She nods, still frowning, I frown even more. What’s making her upset, it’s pains me to see her like this.

“But that’s not what is on your mind, is it?” I ask her.

“Yes, but I am worried about him too,” she replies.

“Then what else is on your mind?” I ask.

“I don’t know,” she sighs.

“You do. You are just worried how I will react,” I say, knowing this too well.
she nods.

She sighs and says, “this was before you woke up, but I was so worried that you would not trust me, and you probably not help me because at the time we didn’t know each other.”

My eyes widen. Why would she think that. I see her patting Rain.

“Okay woah slow down, first off you saved my life and you supported me when I saw the dead bodies of my parents and you haven’t left my side once even though you could have, but you chose not to,” I say sternly.

I smile at her, and I see her start smile too. I put my hand on top of hers, which makes her smile even more and blush a bit, which I thought was cute. As she keeps patting Rain, we hear a groan, and I turn my head to the source of the sound and see that our friend has started to wake up. As they sit up and look around. I can see that they are a male with short, messy red hair, light skin, some freckles, and his eyes yellowly green. He had a few scars over his body, he is wearing clothes with rips through them. A black shirt with three people on it holding hands and words above saying, “home is where your friends are” he is also wearing grey shorts and black sneakers. As he looks at the fire, we see him smile, and then his gaze turns to us. My hand starts to tighten around Hailey’s.
