(Sam’s P.O.V)
“A little better, thanks,” I say, slowly sitting up.

“Here let me help you up,” Lucas says, standing up and putting out a hand. I take it.

I stand up as Lucas and I walk up the stairs while Lucas helps me, walking slowly back to the kitchen.

“I am going to make us some dinner, ok?” Lucas says to me.

I nod, and Lucas walks over to the kitchen and grabs a cup, filling it with water. He then walks over to me.

“Here takes some water with you,” Lucas says, passing me the cup.

I take the cup and drink some water as it fills my body. The wound on the side of my body starts to feel a bit better than before.

“I am going to sit outside on the porch,” I say, walking (limping a little) over to the porch.

I open the door and walk outside onto the porch. I put my cup of water on the bench in front of me, I sit down and look up at the sky, smiling to myself.

(Tilly’s P.O.V)
“Hey, it’s not your fault it was accident,” Hailey says, putting an arm around me.

“I know, but I feel so bad,” I say sadly.

I feel so bad.

“Well, you said sorry, and that’s enough,” Hailey says, and we start walking back to the kitchen, taking the plates with us.

“Yea,” I say, smiling a bit.

We climb the stairs. We see Lucas is getting some food out of the fridge, I turn my head and see Sam sitting outside on the porch, looking up at the sky.

“It’s 6 o’clock so I thought I made something for us,” Lucas says, starting to cook.

“What are we having?” I ask.

“Omelettes,” Lucas says.

I smile. I love Omelettes.

“Well, I think that’s enough of training for today,” Hailey says, walking over and pressing a button that is labelled “sitting space".

The stairs disappear, and the rugs and the firepit return.

“I agree,” Lucas says, nodding as he keeps cooking.

“I am going to talk to Sam,” I say quietly, walking off to the porch.

(Sam’s P.O.V)
I hear the door open and close; I hear someone’s footsteps walk over and sit down next to me. I turn my head to see my dirty blonde-haired friend sitting right next to me looking at the sky. I can tell she feels grief after I got hurt, but it wasn’t her fault it was an accident, and I forgive her.

“I forgive you,” I say before she can say anything.

She looks at me in shock.

“Wait you’re not mad?” she asks me, shocked.

I shake my head.

“Not even the slightest?” she asks again.

“Not at all. It was an accident, and I know you didn’t mean to do it,” I say.

“Can I tell you something that probably no one noticed?” I ask her.

She nods at me slowly.

“Ok, I wasn’t crying because of the pain, I mean I was, but I was also crying because I kept thinking that my dad, step mum and mum couldn’t possibly be gone but when you hurt me that’s when I just accepted that they were gone and just cried there,” I say.

She just looked at me shocked but then she did something that I would never expect, she hugged me, I was so shocked that I didn’t know what to do.

“It took me a while to accept my parent’s deaths as well, but I here if you need, we all are here for each other,” she says.

My eyes widen and fill with tears, I embrace the hug and let my tears fall. We just hug there smiling. Tilly is the best sister like a friend I could ever ask for, I am so lucky to have met her.

“Thanks,” I say.

We stay like this for a while.

“Hey guys…Oh am I interrupting something?” I hear someone ask.

I look up to see my messy, red-haired friend, we let go.

“No, what’s up?” I say/ask.

“I just want to say dinner ready, but it looks like you two need some space,” Lucas says, crossing his arms.

I can see a hint of jealousy in his eyes.

“Dude come on seriously, you know I have eyes for Hailey,” I thought to myself as I mentally facepalm myself.

“No, we are done,” Tilly says, standing up and picking up my glass.

“Oh, I will take that,” I say, standing up and putting out my hand.

“Are you sure?” Tilly asks me.

“Yea,” I say.

She gives the glass, and I walk into the house, putting my glass on the table.

“Hey, how do you feel?” I hear someone ask.

I look up to see my ebony blue-haired friend.

“A lot better,” I say, smiling at her.

She walks over to me, and I see how gorgeous her eyes are. They are so blue they remind me of the sky, the sea, and bluebells, bluebells are her favourite flowers, and she loves space. I love how I can see the whole universe through her beauty and her personality.

“That’s good,” she says, kissing my cheek before walking away.

I stood there in shock, blushing big, touching where she had kissed me.
