(Hailey’s P.O.V)
I slowly open my eyes, sitting up and pulling off my covers as I get out of bed, making my bed, and walking over the wardrobe and changing my dirty and ripped clothes, putting on some blue pants and a green shirt. I walk to my door to see a calendar on it, I turn it to July and see that yesterday was the 29th, so today is the 30th, I open the door and walk out.

“I see you’re awake,” I hear someone say.

I look to see my messy chestnut-haired friend sitting on the purple rug reading.

“Where, are the others?” I ask him, walking over to him.

“Lucas is asleep , so Rain and Tilly are as well,” he says, turning a page.

“How long have I been asleep for?” I ask him to sit down next to him.

“3 days,” he says.

My eyes widen a bit, wow, I must have been tired.

“Both you and I have been sleeping for that long, I woke up 2 hours ago,” he says, turning a page.

“Then how could you tell we have been sleeping for 3 days?” I asked him.

“Lucas marked off the days while we were asleep,” Sam replies, pointing at a calendar on the door, to the outside.

There was some of the time on the cross on a day on the calendar, which was now said on the 2nd of August.

“So, what do you want to do while they are asleep, I mean, they deserve the sleep they did save us twice,” I ask/say, putting a hand on his.

“Well, I’m gonna keep reading this book, but you can do whatever you want,” he says.

I frown a bit.

“I will get a drink,” I say, standing up.

I see him nod and turn a page. I walk over to get a drink, grab out a cup, and fill it up with water. I decide to lean against the wall drinking. I look over, allowing my eyes to adjust to my surroundings until my gaze lands on Sam, who's reading a book. I smile to myself, but I stop drinking as I start to notice the beautiful features he has. Sam’s hair is how it’s always messy, and he can never keep in one place. I notice how gorgeous his eyes are and the way they are as green as the forest; I love the forest. I remember how gentle his hands are. It makes you feel safe and makes you feel comfortable. I love his personality and how his puts others before himself. I love how he is so reliable, and I can trust him with anything. He has always been there for me, and I love how he is so friendly and kind. I have noticed that he would do anything for his friends, even if it meant he had to sacrifice himself. I love how he is always able to see the good in others like I do. I think I have a crush on Sam, but I am not so sure yet.

“Ok, I am done with my book. Do you want to teach me how to defend myself?” I hear Sam say/ask.

I rip myself from my thoughts and see Sam standing, taking the book with him, I watch him walk over to a wall, lifts a secret hatch with a gape where I think your meant to put something in. Sam puts his book into the gape, and it lights up, with three buttons appearing on the side. He presses one of them, and a staircase appears out of nowhere, replace the rugs and firepit.

“Come on, the training room I built is down here,” he says.

“Won’t we wake the others?” I ask.

“No, remember the rooms are soundproof, so they will sleep through this but when they wake up, they will find a staircase so they will be able to find us,” he says walking down the staircase.

I forgot about that. I put down my cup down on a table and follow him, walking down the stairs. I see a whole training area with dummies, weapons, punching bags, some training equipment, and two training platforms.
