(Tilly’s P.O.V)
I give him the glass, which he takes, and he walks off back into the house. I watch Lucas turn his head to follow where Sam is going. I cross my arms at him as he turns back to face me.

“What?” Lucas asks.

I could tell that he is confused about why I am a little annoyed.

“You were jealous,” I say in a teasing tone, smirking.

“No, I wasn’t,” he says, trying to convince me otherwise.

I raise a brow with my arms still crossed.

“Ok, fine, I was jealous,” he says, throwing his hands up in defeat.

“Lucas Smith, you know full well as much as I do that Sam is like a brother to me,” I say sternly.

“I know it just…. I don’t know,” he says, lowing his head in shame.

I walk over to him and lift his head with my finger on his chin.

“Lucas, I will always love you, and nothing will change that,” I say to him.

“Yea I know, I love you too,” he says back, looking at me with a smile.

I take my finger off his chin, and I perk his lips. He smiles at me even more.

“Hey, how do you feel after… you know?” Lucas asks me.

“A lot better,” I say, smiling.

“That’s good, Babe,” he replies after he perks my lips and smiles.

“We should go back inside before this dinner you made, gets cold,” I say, taking his hand.

He doesn’t hesitate as he gently squeezes my hand, walking back into the house. We walk over to see Sam and Hailey sitting next to each other. We take our seats next to each other, all of us, picking up our forks and knives start eating. Lucas only eats a little, I mean, its progress; he must be using what Sam taught him. I pick up a piece of the omelette and bite. That is the most amazing omelette I have ever tasted in life.

“Lucas, this omelette is the bomb,” Sam says.

“I agree, you’re a good cook, Babe,” I say, leaning over and kissing his cheek.

“Thanks guys but Hailey helped as well,” Lucas says, blushing a little.

“You’re two are amazing at cooking,” Sam says.

Sam leans over and kisses Hailey on the cheek. I look at my ebony blue-haired friend who is blushing so much and is also in shock. I smirk at her while Lucas chuckles. She shakes her head and keeps eating. After a while, most of us have finished our food or are too full to finish. Me and Hailey stand up, I take mine and Lucas’s dishes while Hailey takes hers and Sam’s dishes, walking over to the sink, washing them, and putting them away neatly in the draws.

“So, should we go to bed?” I ask, putting away a plate.

“Well, it’s 7.00pm,” Lucas says.

“We should we still have to do 2 more days of self-defensive practice,” Sam says.

“Well, I am going to bed goodnight,” I say.

I grab a piece of ham and walk off to my room. I hear my friends say behind me, “goodnight” or “night.” I walk into my room and close the door behind me. I spot a black tom cat sitting on my bed. His yellow eyes looked up at me. I smile, throwing the meat to him. He leaps and catches the meat, and it’s gone in 5 seconds. I giggle a little, walking over to my bed, I look at my clothes in the mirror, I wish I had something else. I hear the door open, and I turn to see Lucas walking in with some pjs and new clothes in his hands.

“I asked Sam for clothes, and he gave me and Hailey new clothes and pjs, and he also gave me yours,” he says, holding out my new pjs and clothes.

I walk up to him and take my clothes.

“Thanks,” I say.

Lucas left, and I got changed and went to bed, smiling to myself.

The next two days, Hailey taught us self-defensive, and it was getting more complex self-defensive. But we kept doing it, and as we kept learning, we got better. Every time Hailey sets us up in a tournament, we can react and act fast or defend ourselves quicker than we used to, and Sam is doing a better job. He was able to pick up himself off from the ground when he was pushed down, and he was winning most of the tournaments. When it came to Hailey battling us in the tournaments, she still bet us, but she is the master of self-defence. But at least she said we were very good that her dad would be impressed. We were all happy that we had successfully passed self-defense. It was 7 pm. on a Saturday, and I was getting ready for bed after having a shower, Rain was sleeping on my bed. I was dressed in my pjs and am currently brushing my hair when I heard a knock.

“Come in,” I say.

I turn my head to see my boyfriend, Lucas. He closes the door behind him, he looks towards me, he looks nervous like he has something to tell me.

“Hey, is everything okay dear,” I ask him as I put my hair in a ponytail and put the brush down on the bed.

He nods to me while fidgeting with his hands.

“I j-just h-have s-so-something to tell you,” he stuttered.

I look at him, giving him a look, letting him know I am listening.

“If it’s ok with you…I was w-wondering i-if you w-wouldn’t mind going on a date on the porch tomorrow…. with me?” Lucas asks me, fidgeting.

I look at him in shock.

“Seriously?” I ask in disbelief.

“We don’t have to if you don’t want to, I understand,” Lucas says, looking down at the ground.

“I WOULD LOVE TO GO ON A DATE WITH YOU LUCAS!!” I say excitedly, jumping up and down like a little girl.

He looks up at me quickly, and I smile.

“Really?” he asks me in surprise.

I walk over to him and kiss him on the lips.

“Does that answer your question?” I ask.

He nods.

“Well, I leave you to get some sleep, sleep well, dear,” Lucas says.

I nod. he smiles and kisses my cheek before leaving. I walk over to my bed, and I get into the covers, looking over to see Rain fast asleep. I smile, pulling up the covers, and as soon as my head hits the pillow, I go into a deep and dreamless sleep.
