-Liora POV-

The castle was just as beautiful on the inside as it was outside. After walking for what felt like hours we finally arrived outside of two large white doors that stretched from the floor to the ceiling.

Amano then turned to look at me. "This is the throne room, you may go inside" he said as Vaelith knocked on the door, soon after the doors slowly opened and a ray of light nearly blinded us as we began walking inside.

The closer we got the better our vision became and the less the sun was shining in our eyes.
eventually we were face to face with a woman. It was hard to see any more of her face with the shadow covering her face.

Even with her hair as long as it was you could still see her sharp ears poking through. There was no doubt that she was an elf. She was seated on the throne with one leg crossed over the other and her chin rested on the back of her hand and she peered down at us.

I was confused why was there a woman in the kings chair?.

Is she his wife?.

Is that why he accepted my father proposal? Because he wanted a mistress?!.

Suddenly I started to feel uncomfortable by the situation. I tried my best to avoid eye contact with the woman in front of us, she must be furious about this.

Just as I was lost in thought my brother stepped up and began to speak. "Greetings I am Prince Erik Dragonhart from the kingdom of Drakonia sent to act as the ambassador on behalf of my kingdom, it's a pleasure" he said.

The woman shifted in her seat sitting up straight and placing both hands on her crossed legs.

"Welcome prince Erik I am queen Elunara Eldarion of The Kingdom of Aeloria" she said her voice alluring yet beautiful as well. I found myself looking up at her and even though I couldn't see her face clearly I could tell that she was staring at me with a curious expression.

I blushed, her gaze was enough to leave me flustered yet afraid. Not once has that fierce look left her face.

My brother noticed her staring at me and cleared his throat loudly interrupting her gaze and gaining her attention.

She didn't seem very happy at his actions though.

"I wish to speak to the new elven king, Your husband" said my brother, the people in the room all started to look around at each other, there were only the queen, me, my brother, the guards we came with and two other people, a woman who looked to be around my age and a older man who stood next to her off to the side of the queen.

"There is no king here, there is only me" she said my brother looked confused and annoyed all in one but he tried to hide it. "That is a very funny joke your majesty but I'm afraid I do not have the time for them the matter of my sisters arranged marriage with the king must be discussed with haste" said my brother.

"The queen does not joke with the likes of your people so I can assure you that she is not joking with you" snarled Vaelith angrily.

I looked around the room and it would seem that my brother had offended everyone with his careless words.

"The likes of my people?!, was that an insult towards me? a prince when you are nothing but a mere escort?" Said my brother with a snarl back at Vaelith. That made him even more angry then before, just as he was about to come walking over to my brother we all heard a loud powerful voice.

"ENOUGH!" yelled the queen gaining everyone's attention, Vaelith immediately stepped down and went back to his spot next to his brother.

"It would seem that you're having an hard time comprehending my words so let me make them clearer to you" she said as she stood up from her throne chair, she was taller then I expected way taller then me and even my brother.

Now that I'm looking more closely I could see that her hair was as light as day and her eyes the color of the sun.

I found myself staring at how perfectly beautiful she was.

"I am the queen of elves chosen as the successor to the throne and the kingdom of Aeloria one and only ruler" said the queen.

"I- But you are a woman" said my brother in shock.

"I'm glad to see that at least your eyes work considering your hearing doesn't appear to be too great" said her majesty before her eyes landed on me again.

I watched nervously as she stepped down from her throne and slowly walked over to me.

Her every step was graceful yet powerful and her gaze left me speechless. I tried averting her eyes but it was no use because her majesty grabbed me by the chin and forced her to look up
Into her sun colored eyes.

"So you are to be my betrothed?" She asked as she scanned over my face with her sun colored eyes.

I knew that I should answer her immediately but I couldn't seem to open my mouth because while this woman was beautiful she was also frightening.

Her majesty smirked before leaning closer to my face.

I was more nervous than before by now.

Her majesty traced her long fingers along my bottom lip staring at them before looking back up at my terrified face.

What is she doing?!?

"I don't bite darling" she said in a low husky tone.

"Well not yet anyways" she finished.

I swallowed hard as I tried my best to maintain eye contact with her. Her majesty then suddenly smirked before letting me go and taking a few steps back.

"There will be no need to discuss anything I'll take her hand in marriage and you may go over the details with my advisors" said her majesty before walking back to her throne and taking a seat.

My brother was speechless yet he wore an angry look on his face.

"My apologies your majesty but I cannot accept this we promised her hand to the king-" said my brother "And her highness has made it clear that she is the one whom you had promised the princess to" said the older man speaking this time.

"Surly you cannot be serious?!, a queen marrying a princess?, it is abnormal and unheard of" said my brother with a disgusted look on his face.

Was he right? Shouldn't I be feeling the same?.
