-Elunara POV-

"Surly you cannot be serious?!, a queen marrying a princess?, it is abnormal and unheard of" said prince Erik. "As Vaelith said before I do not joke with your kind" I said with a scowl as I looked down at them.

"This is outrageous we cannot go through with this" said my brother "You mean to tell me that you are revoking your proposal? Is this decision on behalf of your entire kingdom?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. The prince looked speechless as he tried to come up with something to say.

"Let me explain the situation to you prince Erik, your kingdom in which is an enemy of mine sent over a proposal for peace with the princess as the bridge, taking back that offer could and will be seen as hostility and disrespect towards me the queen" I said.

"That alone is enough to start a war" I finished, Prince Erik's eyes shot up to mine at the mention of war.

"Is that a threat your majesty?" Asked the prince with a challenging look on his face.

"It is just a mere observation and explanation of the situation but you are free to think what you want" I said. Just by looking at him I could tell that his intentions weren't pure.

What is he trying to do here? Get me to declare war?.

I have info on his kingdom which includes his military power and resources. The first thing I did before they arrived was have a spy sent to the kingdom days before.

By it being the start of winter they are very low on both military power and resources, if they start a war now it would very well be devastating for their people and for them.

Surely this prince knows that.

I watched the prince as he balled his fist then unballed them before taking a breath as if to calm himself.

"Even if we do continue with this agreement an marriage between two women could not work, without an heir how do we know you won't just divorce her and wage war on us after" said prince Erik.

"You need not concern yourself with the matter of an heir I can assure you that I'm more then capable of helping produce one" I said with confidence but prince Erik did not seem convinced. "That is impossible, you are a woman" he said I sighed and stood up before undoing my pants then dropping them to the ground revealing my penis.

Taurion cleared his throat and shook his head while Jen chuckled and both Amano and Vaelith looked away.

The princess looked as shocked as the prince if not more as she looked at me. After a moment I pulled up my pants and redid them before taking a seat back on my throne.

"Now are you convinced?" I asked the prince.

He didn't argue any further with me after that so I had them shown to the rooms they will be staying in during their stay here for the night.

By morning the prince will go back to his kingdom and the princess will stay here with me those were my conditions. After the room was cleared out and only me, Taurion and Jen remained they both turned to look at me with an unhappy look. I sighed already knowing what it was about "Your grace I thought we agreed to not make any hasty decision?" Asked Taurion.

That was indeed what I said but one look at the princess and it was like I knew I had to have her. I felt a connection with her something that I've never felt before, one that is only spoke of in romantic fairytales.

And on top of that she was beautiful more beautiful than any human I've ever seen and I'm not just talking about her physical appearance alone, for a moment I even questioned rather she was indeed human.

Elf's don't usually find humans attractive because they possess no magical or spiritual powers so when you look at them instead of a colorful aura oozing off of them you see a black and bleak aura something in which my people have deciphered as evil.

But it wasn't like that when I looked at the princess her aura wasn't strong but it was there and it wasn't colorful but it did consist of two colors which were light blue and light green.

The way the two colors mixed made her appear more beautiful than any elf I've ever seen which was why I questioned rather she was human or not.

"Her Aura you saw it too right?" I asked looking at Jen who nodded "We both did, I thought the princess was human is there a possibility that they switched her out for someone else" asked Jen.

"There is but at the same time her aura was different from ours it only consist of two colors which is why rather she's human or not cannot be determined easily" I said as I rubbed my chin in a thinking manner. If I can prove that she isn't human then that would eliminate the problem of her being human and only the problem of her being from an enemy kingdom will remain when I present her to the council of elders as my queen to be.

"Jen" I called out, "Yes your grace?" She replied "I need you to find out more about the princess specifically about her birth" I said.

Could it be that she is trying to deceive me?, just then an image of her face appeared in my head.

I sighed, that's definitely not it then it would seem that she is unaware of what she is herself.

"I'll take a team come daylight" said Jen "Even if you can prove that she is indeed not human, marrying her would still be a mistake the people will see it as you accepted a demand from an enemy kingdom" said Taurion.

"Taurion you are aware that the kingdom of Drakonia cannot afford war right?" I asked "I am" said Taurion.

"It's the same for us, our main land still have not been able to recover from the centuries old war that came about, we tried everything to get new life to grow but nothing has worked, we are unsure of what they used to kill our forest which means we have to way of telling if they still posses it" I said taking a breath before leaning back in my chair.

"If we go to war with them now we could lose more of our lands in which are our main sources of food and water, Then we would have to start rationing which could very well cause them to start killing each other before the starvation and dehydration even take effect" I said.

"I didn't think of that my apologies your grace" said Taurion.

"It's fine as long as now you see that this peace agreement is mutually beneficial, however I'll need your help convincing the elders of the same" I said Taurion nodded "Of course" he said.

After what felt like hours talking with Jen and Taurion I decided to make my way to my bedroom I stretched my arms over my head and yawned.

Even though I was sleepy my mind couldn't help but wander to the princess.

Her aura aside I truly wasn't expecting her to be so beautiful. As I was walking down the hall I noticed someone walking my way as well.

As we got closer I could see that it was the princess.

"Lost?" I asked walking up to her before standing in front of her. "Yes" she answered honestly but nervously, I chuckled a little as I looked at her wary face.

She's still wary of me.

It's adorable she reminds me of a cautious rabbit.  Even so I felt that I should ease her worries. "I'm not going to hurt you for as long as you are my betrothed I will treat you as such so be at ease with me" I said.

She looked surprised at my attempt to comfort her yet she was definitely now less stiff than she was before.

I found myself smiling slightly at her but quickly cleared my throat when I realized it.

"I will show you back to your room" I said walking ahead of her.

She followed.
