CLOVE POV
Gale frowned. "But I lost the time that I could have spent with other people, such as friends," he sighed. "Don't worry, we won't host a party without you," assured Gloss. "Well, I don't think so. Clove, can we have a sleepover at your dorm tomorrow?" asked Katniss.
"Sure," said Clove, surprised. "Are students allowed to spend the night in each other's dorms?" she asked. "Of course," said Gloss. "I'm coming too, right?" Clove nodded. "So the Careers are coming, and-," began Clove. "The Mockingjays wanna come too!" whined Gale.
Clove smiled. "Okay, is seven o' clock fine?" "Sure, be prepared for some insane partying," said Katniss. "Just be careful of Johanna Mason, her dares are so scary," said Gloss. "I think I can do well myself, thank you," replied Clove. Katniss high-fived her.
"So Glimmer, there's apparently a party at my dorm at seven o' clock," said Clove. "Yes!" cried Glimmer, who was walking next to her, heading for P.E. "What should I wear? What should you wear? What do you have?" Glimmer sprayed Clove with questions.
"Can't I just wear a hoodie and jeans, please?" asked Clove. "No, for a party, the proper etiquette is shorts except for when it's winter," said Cash. "But the boys can wear jeans," smirked Marvel. "Seriously? Can you guys just pretend that I'm a boy, too?" pleaded Clove.
"I think you'll be hot even if you're a boy," said Gloss with a lopsided grin. Clove shivered inwardly. "Ew," she said. "What?" complained Gloss. "Personal opinion over here," he protested.
"If she's uncomfortable, deal with it!" scolded Cashmere. Gloss pouted then continued walking. "Anyway, the gym teacher is Coach Brutus," said Marvel. 'Saved by Marvel,' thought Clove.
Gym passed without any particular problems. Before Clove knew it, it was the next day's morning. Her first few classes flew by without any particular problems. Then it was cooking class.
Cato was waiting for her. "Did you get your textbook?" he asked. Clove nodded. "Thank god, it was kinda uncomfortable, sharing a book," said Cato. Clove frowned. "Does that mean-" "No!" shouted Cato, his face red.
"I meant that it was uncomfortable to sit so close to-" Cato sighed in frustration. "It's not about you," he said in a tone that implied that even he didn't know.
Mr. Cinna started the class. Clove sat as far as she could from Cato, and pulled down her hair to make a comfortable curtain between them. She could sense him staring at her, and she frowned. It was him who told her that he didn't like her.
"Today we're baking cakes," said Mr. Cinna. "Every person will bake their own cake." Clove sighed inwardly. Everything she did at the orphanage was baking cakes,
then cutting them.
She quickly prepared the ingredients for her favorite cake, red velvet. She was mixing the batter when she heard an explosion. She whirled around to see Cato, his apron smoking.
Clove burst into laughter. Cato looked so funny, and kinda adorable. Wait what? She decided that it must have been a shock. "What did you do?" she asked between laughter. "I put the batter in the oven," mumbled Cato. "Did you remove the spoon?" asked Clove, because she didn't see any spoon.
"Drat," sighed Cato. Clove was able to control her laughter now. "Mr. Hadley, please start again," said Mr. Cinna. Cato sulked off towards the pantry. Clove put her cake in the oven.
She watched Cato stumble around, smirking. She took the cake out of the oven, then started decorating it to look like someone had spilled blood all over it. After the class ended, she put the cake in her room.
The other classes passed without any noticeable events. (WARNING! BORED AUTHOR!)
It was six o' clock and an hour before the party. Glimmer turned out to be her roommate, and she helped her prepare. Glimmer was wearing a sequined pink tank top with black shorts, and was applying light makeup.
Clove was forced to wear white shorts with an off-the shoulder mint green top. She pulled a hoodie over the outfit and grinned. "Please take that off," pleaded Glimmer. "No," declined Clove. "Never," she stated.
Seven o' clock. The Careers started filing into Clove and Glimmer's room. Then the Mockingjays, except for Gale, entered. "Where's Gale?" asked Johanna. "He's bringing a special guest to make Truth Odair more fun," grinned Finnick.
Gale entered the room with Cato by his side. Glimmer and Cashmere frowned. "Him?" hissed Cash. "Do you have any sense, dude?" asked Marvel. Clove hit his arm. "He can hear, you know," she chided. Cato grinned at her. "Don't grin at me, Hadley," snapped Clove.
"I bear gifts," said Cato. He was carrying the cake that he had made in cooking class. His shirt had burn stains on it.
"Is everybody here- wait," said Clove. "I invited one more, where is she?" she asked. "Who?" asked Gloss. "Her name's Annie, but I don't know her last name," replied Clove. "Annie Cresta?" screeched Glimmer. "Can this get even weirder?" she continued.
"I'm gonna go get her," said Clove. "She seemed not bad," she muttered as she left. "Wait up!" shouted Gloss. "I'm going with you," he declared, opening the door for her. Clove knocked his hand away, then slammed the door behind her.

FanficImagine a world where the characters of the Hunger Games went to school, and had to deal with drama, homework, and classes instead of fighting and hunting. This will contain a bit of Clato interaction, but I'll put i some Everlark, Odesta, and stuff...
