PROLOGUE

ZACH

The starting of summer holidays was what every senior in high school was looking forward to, time for new beginnings and uniting for others, mine was the breaking of one my friends, a lady friend that I have been crushing on for like 2 years but never had the balls to tell her because am the type of guy that likes to analyze things before acting and that's what I've been doing for Alexia.

Her brunette hair flowing with the wind as the sun hits her blond highlights, I couldn't help but gaze longingly from the pitch, her free but bossy spirit is what actually captured me but the only problem...she thinks am a player and don't get me wrong I am but something about her just entraps me in her ordeal type, she was watching the football practice on the bench with her other friends.

I've done the best that she has become one of the people I trust of course...But not with my secret, which is one secret that has been a blessing but brought about difficulties because it separates me from the others.

I and my sister Nina are bionic kids, we are not the natural bionics of looking all robot like...hell no, we look just like humans, we feel just as humans, and no we don't have robot voices, we are part human part bionic, I find it pretty cool but in the world we live in, it's easy to criticize so we've kept it a secret since we were 13 years old, only our parents know.

According to our parents, we only got our bionic side because of some experiment that was been carried on us due to some deadly disease we had and that was the only way to survive, so been part robot has greatly helped since I can remember data easily than the average humans so yeah basically am pretty smart for my age, am also super fast and super strong oh and I can read minds too...pretty cool eh?

Football practice ended quickly, the team cheered because we had won championship for been of the best football team all over Vancouver, Canada. I and my buddies hurried to the boy locker rooms and started changing to my clothes.

"Zach bro...when you gonna tell her you like her?" my buddy Mark said

"Chill your tits Mark, I'll ask her today" I said

Pulling the shirt over my head, I and Mark said our farewell and walked towards Alexia and her girls, Mark spotted his girlfriend and ditched me....great! Just when I needed a wing man.

"Hey Alexia!" I said hugging her

"Achy!" She yelled using her nickname she made for me

"Don't call me that" I said

"You do know who you're talking to right?" She asked as she waved goodbye to her friends

We started walking together. I couldn't help but smirk as we grew closer

"Ah yes, I forgot you were the wicked witch of the west" I sneered

"Hey watch your mouth buddy unless if you want to turn your pretty head to that of a big foots"

"OMG am like sooo scared" I mocked

We started laughing at each other, we reached my car and I couldn't help but give myself a pep talk.

"You know, you've become better..., am genuinely surprised"

"Really?"

"Yup, means I've taught you well" She said proudly hopping in my car and tying her hair in a messy ponytail...and even then she looked flawless.

I started the engine and turned her direction, I so desperately wanted to grab her and kiss her but I controlled myself and gave my signature smirk and asked where she wanted to go
