Chapter 4

ZACH

I looked around to see pine trees and the city buildings lights glowing in the dark in the far distance...I have never thought of leaving our small town but I took a deep breath and walked on keeping the same stride with Nina, I finished texting Mark saying I'll be leaving the country for vacation and won't be sure if I'll come back to Vancouver. Then I threw the phone and it smashed into millions of pieces because I used my bionic strength, I couldn't believe I just did that, it cost me 500 Canadian dollars for that phone.

"What the fuck Zach!" Nina yelled

"All evidence or any way people can communicate with us must be destroyed, we can't be tracked...give me yours"

She didn't want to because I knew she loved her phone..., she was those type that was always with her phone, name the place, you would probably find her with her phone.

"Can I text Liz?" She asked

"No..., it would be tracked..., Nina you said you're willing to do this"

"I know, it's just coming on a bit too fast I guess. Fine here" She said sadly giving her phone up

I smashed her phone too and then we raced to the lodge. I had been saving for years for a new car but I found better use for the money this way, we could survive on the money I saved up for maximum a year and a half.

We got settled in the lodge but I knew we had to move quickly because I knew our 'parents' were looking for us by now. We got in our room and took a quick nap before moving on. I wanted us to get far away from them and anyone associated with them, I wanted to keep Nina far away from them and the only continent that was the closest one was North America and so that was where we were heading.

For two weeks we've been training and moving form motel to motel. We got a car since our bionic speed got us tired after some time. I can't believe that the plan is working so far, mostly I can't believe that our parents haven't tracked us down but then again when you have a chip like that of a computer, every movement is calculated to perfection.
