Chapter 8

ZACH

It's been about 2 weeks, I and Nina had been in this warehouse building, I gotten used to Max, Jim, Kate and Scarlett. 

I found out we were separated into sections by age, which is fine by me don't really want little kids disturbing me.

The training we've been doing has changed both Nina and I, she's more aware than ever, which was one of her weakness back then, she's stronger and has gotten a new power of seeing the future which she she's not sure about but I know she can even if she refuses to tell me.

I missed Alexia..., once again I let her down, but maybe its a good sign

 I also think I might be developing feelings for Scarlett who does have feelings for me, (I read her mind).

I was in the library, it was decorated with a fire place that was blazing and showed the exotic shadows of the books on the shelves, so far this place rocked.

I was researching on this facility when I heard Scarlett coming in, she was wearing a sea blue shirt and white shorts which looked amazing on her, her blond hair tied to her left side covering one eye, and she was wearing a sliver cross on her neck.

"Hey" she said when she finally reached me

"Hey" I replied

"So..., what are you doing?" she asked nervously

"Research, you wouldn't be that interested, so what brings you here?" I asked her, trying to make my voice deep and bring out my accent.

"Oh...! I thought it would be a grand idea that you would love a tour around this underworld we live in, besides you've been locked here since break-fast"

"That's nice" I said

I got up ready to follow her but she didn't get up

I leaned towards her to ask her but when she turned towards me

I realized how close we were,I quickly got mesmerized in her green eyes, I never felt this much desire for any one before as I did for Scarlett right now

 I just felt like protecting her and making sure she would be happy for the rest of her life, I slowly bent towards her to give her a kiss on her plum pink lips.

She responded to my movements, she also leaned closer towards me and kissed me with much more passion than expected

As our lips touched I had a feeling of peace and images of spring fields; I kissed her back until I lost my breath. 

We parted for short breaths; she looked deep into my eyes and smiled at me..., and leaned back for another kiss and kissed her back with the same passion.

If Nina hadn't entered just then, I would have lost myself

We parted and smiled at each other, with Scarlett blushing and quietly mumbling to herself, something about been finally caught.

"Am sorry..., was I interrupting anything?" Nina asked trying to hide a smile

"Uh..., no, no you're not, Scarlett and I were about to go for a walk, right?" I asked Scarlett

She nodded and softly smiled at Nina; Nina just stared and silently laughed to herself.

"Who are you fooling, but I'll let it go for today, go on you two love birds" she said

Scarlett and I quickly rushed past Nina holding hands

 We were walking once more down the corridors and Scarlett turned a corner and dragged me and we found ourselves on a wide balcony over viewing a large green field, I smiled softly to myself, my feelings were messed up but I finally decided that Scarlett was the one.
