The love between a humans and Witch Princesses

Prologue

I was just doing some dishes as my twins were playing in the living room when someone suddenly knocked.

At first, I didn't mind it at all but his knock continued and it sounded someone really wanted to see me. 

"Mom, someone is at the door." My baby boy said. "Should I open it?"

"No! Let me open it." I said in panicked that it might be someone who would harm us. 

Who would want to see? I thought.

I wipe my wet hands with my apron then walk towards the door and for some weird reason, my heart is pounding as if it wants to come out. Or someone I left suddenly show up.

When I take ahold of the doorknob after unlocking it, I felt a tingle in my chest. 

What the hell is wrong with me? I thought.

And when I finally opened the door, I saw a tall man with silver hair looking at me as if he's about to eat me alive. 

What is he doing here? How did he find me here? I thought in horror.

He just stared at me the way he stares at me whenever it was just us in a room. He stare at me as if he wants to dominate me again but... Why am I seeing his eyes with so much confusion and bereavement? Did he even loved me just the way I loved him? Better yet, why did he show up out of the blue when the kids and I are doing great?

"Wh-What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Dorothy." He dared to say my name.

"Mom?" My baby boy called making us turn to him.

"Yes, baby?" I said.

He turn to look at him. "Who is he, mom? Is he your friend?"

I glance at him for a while then went back to look at my son again. "Uh, yes. He's old friend of mommy." I said nervously. "Anyway, he was just leaving." I said pushing him out.

"Mom, isn't he the one on your picture that you have been keeping?" My baby girl stated.

"Uh..."

"Hey, Dawn, that's just rude."

Dawn then turn to her brother. "You were the one who interrupted their eye-to-eye contact earlier, Nolan."

"Hey, you don't get to talk to me that way. I'm your brother!"

"And I'm older than you."

I glance at him who couldn't believe of what he just saw. 

I sigh. "Both of you stop arguing and I will see my..." I stopped myself in mid-sentence to glance at him from head-to-toe. "...old friend out."

"H-Hai."

"Good." I said then closes the door. "As for you, how did you find me?"

He just stare at me. It was like he's out of words until I snap my finger in front of him. "Dorothy."

I raise my brows in shocked when he lean in towards me attempting to kiss me. "Wh-What are you doing?" I asked when he press his forehead to mine. 

He suddenly hug me. "I missed you." He kiss my head. "Come home... to me."

I shook my head. "No."

"But, I love you."

I shook my head again as tears began to gather. "No, Nozel. We can't... anymore."
