Hindsight

I was still in the tub, healing. That guy with a weird-looking face was with me the whole time until the Black Bull members came. I didn't even notice his robe.

He's a Black Bull member... But how is he so strong? Isn't he just a peasant? Aren't the Black Bull squad members all peasants? I thought.

The Black Bull squad was lively even if we were in the middle of a crisis, they still managed to smile and laugh together. Is that what my friend feels all the time? 

Solid and I were listening to their conversation, and I was so confused and having difficulty keeping up with what that loud, short boy was saying. It was like he was mumbling things, I don't know.

"We are going into that stone and save everyone!" That loud boy said. "Ow! Noelle! Why did you do that?!"

I laugh to myself knowing that my sister smacked his head.

"You are being nosy, and I'm Royal." My sister said. "And how are you going to get in there? It's almost entirely impossible, you know."

I smiled.

Noelle has a point. It is impossible to get in there.

"There is no impossible!" The loud boy declared. "Let's go inside!"

"Het, you idiot! How are you sure supposed to go there?!" Noelle shouted and I suddenly spotted someone flying towards the rock.

The boy yelled. "If Yuno is going so am I!"

"Noelle!" I turn to the source of the sound. "Go with them! Prove them on how powerful you are!"

"Solid..." I said quietly.

"Because no matter what happens, I am still your older brother!" He declared. "I promise you, I will be stronger than you in the future!"

"Solid nii-sama, I will!" She said with determination.

Suddenly, that weird-looking mask guy came. "I'll look after them, Silver Captain." He said that they just departed. He turns to my brother, Solid. "Hey, you."

"M-Me?"

"Yes, you." He said. "bring some men with you and at least protect the citizen."

"Hey, who are you to order me around?!"

He scoffed. "As far as I could remember, we are both Magic Knights. That makes us equal."

"We are not equal. You're a peasant. A damn peasant."

"I guess, I'll have to teach you a lesson, then." He said.

"Hey!" I made them turn to look at me. "Stop it and go do what he said, Solid."

"B-But..."

"He saved our lives, that means we owe him. Now, go."

In the end, Solid did what I told him to do and this jerk face just wouldn't stop teasing me.

"So, you two owe me, huh?" He grins.

I look away. "Fuck you."

"Oh, you wanna fuck me?" He said. "Sure!"

I turn to look at him harshly. "Why would I want to do that?"

He leans closer to me. "Because I know you want it the way I want it to." 

To think of it, he looks like that friend of mine. I thought. 

I look away. "Sh-Shut up."
