Secrets revealed

It's been almost a week since an elf named Reve possessed Dorothy. She had me worried. I thought she was in the rock, but she wasn't.

Noelle told me that her comrades fought her, and based on what she told me, they barely stood a chance against her. Noelle's Witch friend had to make an exact copy of my Dorothy.

I held her hand tightly and kissed it, hoping she would at least wake up but she didn't.

I caress her cheek. "Please, wake up for me, Dorothy. Please, stay with me, my love. Please..." I beg.

It wasn't in my vocabulary to beg someone, but this is Dorothy. I would do anything for her, even if it meant for me to get on my knees for her.

I pressed her hand on my forehead as I pleaded for her to wake up when I felt a slight movement from her hand. I jolted up to look at her, and there she was, alive and well. She's awake.

"D-Dorothy?" I said then she looked at me as if I just disturbed her sleep.

She lightly chuckled. "Do you always have to be whiny whenever I'm asleep?" She said with a playful smile.

I chuckled at her statement and then kissed her on the lips. "You scared me," I said as I held her face close to mine.

"It's not my fault that I was reincarnated as one of the elves."

"Yeah, but still..."

"Funny that I was reincarnated as one of them yet Witches and Elves have been enemies for centuries until I was befriended by one." She said. "Did I ever tell you about that?"

"Yeah..." I nod. "But befriended by one?"

She nods. "Yeah."

"When? How?"

She chuckled. "We were childhood friends and up until now, we're still friends."

I tilted my head. "Do I know this elf friend of yours?"

"Maybe you do, maybe don't."

"Dorothy."

She chuckled. "Yeah!"

I was about to kiss her again when her doctor suddenly came. "Oh, she's awake." The doctor said with a smile as she walked towards us. "Why didn't you push the bottom?" She looks at me.

"Uh..."

Dorothy holds my hand. "He got carried away that he didn't know what to do." She backed me up. "When am I gonna get out of here, Sahara."

She chuckled at her statement. "You're always so straightforward, aren't you?"

Wait, they knew each other? Could it be she's an elf? But she's so young and doesn't look as old as I am or her. I thought.

"How is she, Doctor?"

She turns to me. "Don't worry, your fiancee is ok. All she needs is to rest to make her immune system work like it used to, and maybe in a few days, she'll be out."

"Hey, I am not his-"

"I understand, Doctor."

She smiled at me and then turned to Dorothy with a teasing look. "I shall excuse myself." She said then exited the room.

I chuckled at what she just said with my hands on my waist.

I guess she knows what I'm up to. I thought.

Dorothy smacks my arm making me turn to her. "What?"

She chuckled. "Last time I checked, we're not engaged."
