*Anvi Pov*

"Is everything ready?" I asked entering the lobby from the elevator where my assistant is waiting for me.

"Don't worry, Maam! When the investors come next week, nothing will go wrong." He replied assuring me.

"I am asking whether everything is ready or not." I repeated glancing at him.

He stopped smiling and started giving details on what things are already done and what are pending for the next week's visit.

"Why is the menu still not planned?" I asked frowning at him and continued to walk towards the main kitchen.

The kitchen is busy right now as it is close to lunch time but I couldn't find the chef anywhere. I glanced around and finally found him standing near the door and talking to someone while laughing.

"Anvi!" before I could start walking towards him, the Sous chef who is handling everything now due to an irresponsible chef stopped me.

"What is it?" I asked glancing at her.

"There are many guests in the private rooms right now and everyone is busy. Reprimand him later, Anvi." She whispered and I took a deep breath to calm down.

"Okay! Ask him to meet me after the lunch session is over." I said and Jhanvi nodded back before returning to the cooking area to continue the work.

I stood there for some time observing her and other staff and then at the Chef who finally realized I am here and cut the call.

"Where is the dish? Let me check!" He walked to the counter and started checking the taste.

"Why is the salt missing?" he shouted at Jhanvi and started making changes.

I turned away and walked out of the kitchen area. When we reached the lobby, I glanced at Giri and asked, "You didn't receive any complaints about the Chef or cooking?"

"Just general complaints, Maam." He replied and I continued to stare at him.

"I will make a file of all the complaints and present it to you in an hour." He added seeing my expression.

I nodded and walked off to reach my cabin at the corridor end and sat down while still thinking about the scene I just witnessed in the kitchen.

"Maam!" I heard a knock and asked the person to enter.

"What is it?" I asked looking at the staff from the reception area.

"I received a complaint that a hotel guest got back pain from the bed. It seems they complained about it yesterday night to the night shift staff but no one responded properly. They are demanding a refund at the reception desk." She explained looking at me.

"Who was in charge yesterday night?" I asked opening the staff folder while ignoring the throbbing pain in the head with everything that is happening today.

"It's Raji, Maam!" She replied and I opened her file and found a word added in her file.

'On Recommendation!' I tapped the word frowning as I never hired anyone due to recommendation then why is someone here in that category?

I checked the date of her joining and froze realizing why this happened. I turned the pages and finally found the chef's file and tapped on the same word 'On Recommendation' and also his joining date.

"You can go and accept their demands and also apologize from the hotel side. If they continue to make an issue, call me directly and I will handle it." I said glancing at her.

"Okay Maam!" saying that she left the cabin.

I immediately started checking each and every employee's file and filtered the ones with the same word attached.
