*Abhay Pov*
"What happened?" I asked drying my hair after the shower and saw her frowning at her phone.
"The cyclone is getting intensified." She replied putting her phone away and rubbed her temples.
"You should go back tomorrow itself?" I asked sitting beside her.
"Yeah! I made arrangements only for the weekend. What if something goes wrong?" She asked in a worried tone.
I sighed not commenting as I feel when everything is already wrong with that place, what else can go wrong more than that.
If it was anyone else, I would have voiced that out immediately but I know she is serious about her place and so kept quiet.
"You just talk to your staff and ask them to manage." I said but she shook her head.
"Anyway, there is no news of cancellation for the bus tomorrow. So, I will just hope I can go back without any issue." She sighed leaning back to the head board and turned to glance at me.
"You don't need to inform your parents that you are here?" She asked and I sighed leaning back.
"Yesterday I told my Mom that I will not marry Pallavi and so she is not talking with me. My Grandmother also stopped faking her sickness." I replied closing my eyes.
"What did your Dad say?" She asked and I closed my eyes tightly without saying a word.
"Abhay?" she called me a few times as I stayed silent.
I chuckled a bit before saying, "He is no longer in our lives from the past few months."
"I am sorry..." I cut her off saying, "Even though I feel that he is head but he is not actually dead. He left my Mom saying he wants freedom and left the house."
This time she stayed silent and I finally said the things I didn't say to anyone till now. I leaned to place my head on her shoulder.
"After he left suddenly, the business was a mess. Even though he is an architect, he was handling my Grandfather's business. I had to step in and try to get in control these past few months. Mom is not showing any kind of emotion as if nothing happened and trust that he will come back soon. However, what is more troubling is she and my Grandmother are making all the noise to get me married. As if that will solve everything." I shook my head and felt her hands moving to hug me.
"Actually, I never want to get married. I don't trust in this love and everything. It is nothing but a noise. All I believe is attraction. Be together when it is there and get separated when it fades. That's all I believed and that's all I will ever believe. My Dad's action made my belief even stronger." I continued opening my eyes to stare at her and found her eyes closed leaning back to the headboard.
"When I first felt the attraction towards you, I thought we could have a relationship but backed away when you didn't want to. After coming here, I let go of it. And because of all the mess, I didn't feel like anything was interesting at all. However, when I met you again, I realized the attraction was still there. I tried to ignore it again but knowing you will leave today and we may never meet, I realized I should come and see you one more time and ask again. I am glad that you accepted to be in this relationship." I smiled kissing her cheek and closed my eyes to rest.
"Why aren't you saying anything?" I asked as she was still silent.
"I am not good at comforting people and so I don't know what to say. Let's get some rest. I need to wake up early." Saying that she moved her hands away from me and moved to lay down and I lay down behind her and hugged her.
