*Abhay Pov*
After closing the door, I stood there in silence for a few seconds to just digest the fact that I was saying bad things about someone to their face. Not about someone but their work but still it is the same thing.
This Rohit! I wish he was here so that I could scold him more. He didn't just let me miss important meetings today but even gave me such an embarrassing situation for a lifetime.
I rubbed my forehead and then frowned remembering yesterday's conversation. She could have said anytime that she was the hotelier.
Right! It was not my fault then as she could have explained anytime about this. I turned around to opened the door and walked out of the room asking, "Why didn't you tell me this yesterday?"
She glanced up from the couch and again turned to concentrate on her work saying, "You were just a guest of the hotel who is giving me some good points which would be helpful for me. Also, I didn't expect to see you again as you were bent on leaving this place as soon as you can."
"I wish! Because of this weather, I am stuck here." I mumbled even though I tried not to talk bad of this place again before her.
"It's better to find some other place then. They are saying the cyclone effect will be there for a week." She calmly responded.
"I tried to but everywhere it is fully booked." I explained and walked towards the couch and sat down beside her leaving some distance while she continued to write in a book.
I leaned back feeling hungry and thinking whether to order anything from here but remembering yesterday's food, I don't feel like doing it.
I already informed my team to handle everything as I am stuck here. They are capable enough to not let me worry. So, I am even bored out of my mind.
Maybe I should put charge to my laptop in case the power goes. Don't know what is the condition of the generator here and whether it will support the whole hotel.
I opened my mouth to ask the same to which she closed the book and turned to glance at me. She didn't have any angry expression on her face and calmly said, "Don't worry! Thefirst thing I spent a huge amount for this place is to get a very good power generator as I am scared of darkness."
"Why?" I asked before I stop myself as she didn't seem like that.
"Why not?" She asked back and I explained honestly, "You don't seem to be the type who is scared of dark."
"How can anyone know what is someone capable of or scared of?" She asked again and I raised my hands in surrender.
"There is no reason or some trauma that you are expecting. I am just scared and that's all." She explained and I nodded before turning away to stare at the blank screen on the television.
"Had breakfast?" She asked and I finally sat properly and shook my head.
"Shall I order?" she asked picking her phone from the table and I immediately said no.
"Then you have to prepare it by yourself. I am not good at it. I can get you the ingredients from the hotel kitchen." She said looking at me and didn't get offend again for my words.
"You know how to right?" she added and I nodded before asking for just eggs and bread.
She called someone and within a few minutes, the doorbell rang. She walked back into the hall and placed them on the table before me.
"The spices are here as I can make some bread and omellete or some simple curry but just tasty enough for me to eat." She explained and I nodded but didn't move from my place to which she gave me a curious look.
