"Calm down! Because of you, it is raining so much." I turned to glare at Jhanvi and she immediately lifted her hands in surrender.

"Why didn't you tell me the issue of the Chef till now?" I asked not calming down.

"He was fine till now and he suddenly started acting like this. I thought he was just nervous because of the big day next week. I didn't expect that he is part of Naveen's plan." She replied sighing.

"What are you going to do? You just fired more than half of the staff and even the chef. Next week is an important day, right?" She added.

"Can you handle the kitchen?" I asked calmly.

"What? Me? No way! I am just a sous chef and how can I suddenly..." I cut her off saying, "But when that chef is playing games, you were already managing everything. I trust you!"

She stared at me for a few seconds before nodding. I smiled in relief even though this didn't solve all the problems.

"What about the other staff? Every department is cut down to half today." She asked frowning.

"I already posted for hiring. I will try to hire a few people this week so that there will be no problem next week." I assured her and myself.

"Okay! I will plan the menu and will get back to you." I nodded at her and she left the room.

I finally dropped my shoulders in defeat. I didn't want to worry her which would cause any disturbance in the kitchen.

I don't know whether I can find anyone within a week. Also, I don't whether the people who come to get hired will be genuine or a part of Naveen's trap.

I closed my eyes to control my negative thoughts. No matter what I need to get this hotel to run smoothly so that I can get proper investments and then in turn... I opened my eyes and turned around to look outside the window.

"I will get it back." I whispered holding the railing on the window tightly.

After taking a deep breath, I got back to work and communicated with the remaining staff that they need not worry about the workload and will be paid more for the increased workload.

As I finished with all the details, I reached the penthouse and removed my jacket feeling tired with everything that happened today.

As I laid down on the couch, I heard the phone ringing on the table. I picked it up seeing the number is from the reception and hoping there is no new issue.

"What is it?" I asked sitting up.

"Maam! There is a guest complaining that the heater is not working in the room. The staff who manage those things are... are fired today. Whom should I send for the work, Maam?"

I rubbed my forehead and calmly said, "Don't worry! Which room is it? I will handle it."

After she passed the room number, I got surprised as it is a suit and generally we never have problems with the suit. They were always checked timely and this is the first complaint.

I stood up and put on my jacket before walking out of the room while taking the repair kit along with me.

After reaching the floor below mine, I rang the bell and waited for the door to be opened. I put on a professional smile and continued with it even though the guest opened it with a cold expression.

If I don't fix it soon, he seems like to complain heavily for sure. I apologized for the issue and politely said it will be fixed soon.

He just stepped aside and I walked towards the washroom and paused when I heard him saying, "I can't believe I have to stay in this worthless hotel."
