Chapter 6

#After a Year#

*Anvi Pov*

"Congratulations, Boss!" I glanced up hearing Jhanvi and found her holding a cake in her hands while other staff opened the door of my cabin for her.

"Congratulations to us, right?" I asked and stood up to approach them.

I found the room too small and suggested everyone to go to the lobby so that all of us can fit at a place.

We celebrated with the cake cutting and also some pictures but made sure the guests are not troubled by it. Some guests also joined themselves and I smiled while still feeling shock by what we finally achieved.

"Are you happy?" Jhanvi asked approaching me as I stood aside to let other take pictures of the banner these people prepared somehow.

"Yes! However, I still can't believe we got this huge investment." I replied smiling at her.

"Yeah! We were getting small ones till now and suddenly a huge one will be shocking." She nodded.

"By the way, why didn't you approach the same person who didn't come last year to check for investing? I saw Mr. Rohit a few times at the hotel and thought he will be approached again." She asked glancing at me.

"He asked me a few times but I didn't accept." I replied and she gave me a shocked look.

"Are you upset that they rejected us earlier?" I shook my head at her question.

"No! It's just he was not having out hotel at heart while suggesting his Dad's investment." I replied and she gave a confused look for a second before realizing what I am trying to say.

"He likes you? Wow! I should have realized that earlier." She chuckled and I glared at her.

"We will clean this up, Boss?" The receptionist approached and I nodded at her before walking towards my cabin and Jhanvi followed me while chuckling in the middle.

"On a serious note, why don't you give it a try?" She asked sitting on the chair opposite to mine while I turned on the system.

"No!" she sighed adding, "Just because you met an inhuman guy once doesn't mean you will meet the same type again."

"I know! Meeting someone like that again may not happen. However, I nearly lost this place because of that relationship and I don't want to get any hurdle when I am about step towards my main aim." I said turning my chair to look outside the window.

"You need more than this investment for that aim." Jhanvi commented and I sighed nodding while looking at the view I wish I can step into as soon as possible.

"Maybe being with Mr. Rohit can help you to achieve it more?" I shook my head at her words.

"Do you really think I should depend on him and have a relationship for that sake? How can it be fair to him?" I asked and she immediately held my hand.

"I am not saying you should use him. I just feel like you are working continuously and I didn't see you stepping out of the hotel unless for some hotel shopping or anything related to hotel. I want you to live your life. If it is a serious relationship then its good and if it is a casual is also good." She explained in a hurry.

"Casual?" I asked glancing at her.

"Yeah! I am not saying a person needs a relationship to survive but its okay to have one right. What about that guy? I forgot his name but I felt you were interested in him. You were even a bit lost after he left the hotel suddenly." She asked back.
